Robert Kiyosaki: His 'Rich Dad' Does 'Not Exist'?

Robert Kiyosaki Is A Fraud?

Hi,

In the last few years John T. Reed caused a storm

worldwide by labelling the best selling authour of Rich

Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki a fraud.

He claims that the Rich Dad Poor Dad story is fake and

also that Robert is a not a property guru and super

investor he claims he is. He even presented some facts.

If you know me well, you'll know that I'm a big fan of

Robert Kiyosaki.

What do you think? Cheers, Akin

Robert s not a liar of any sort. If you dont know somebody, dont asume. In Donald J Trumps book, think like a champion, RTK did the foreward and stressed on being your speech. reading through RTK's writtings, He is too Familliar with his path than some one would say its fiction according to Timaya, 'na true story'

Robert Kiyosaki may not be a saint, but he surely has good ideas about building personal wealth, Take it or live it, Life is full of risks,

The main point is if you want to be Wealthy, play smart, save enough, invest wisely, and build solid connections as u go,

Well, his writings makes meaning to me. whether rich dad is real or fake, it doesnt matter to me, atleast we all know his poor dad. Pick the lessons and implement them to change your life and forget about whether rich dad is real or not. Best wishes.

I read the first book in 2003 and it kind of helped me to make better decisions with money. The subsequent ones WERE A BIT too ambigous for me so I stopped reading him. I have never played the game and I don't think I will!

I will admit i wasnt too suprised with some parts of that revelation.but to say R.K is just an author without experience in the real thing will be a false accusation and john reed should be sued for character defamation.at learnt a lot 4rm R.K. Even though he is quite repetitive bt he teaches a lot through his books.lets not forget donald trump went through this sort of experience some years ago

I dont know who the reed guy is but i think he should go nd fry stones to kip busy. I have read all kiyosakis books and i know how far i am going financially, secondly the kiyosaki 'scam' of richdad seems to have turned many financial lives around (cuz i know a few) so let him keep scammig me cuz i will continue falling for it. The only drawback abt RK BOOKS IS DAT THEY MAY NOT APPLY IN AFRICA they serve as guides. Howeva to really hit it big, have a naija mentor. Mine is an ex-gov friend.

i think saying kiyosaki is lieing about the existence of his rich dad is very bad, even if his rich dad never exists anyone who carfully reads his books will have a lot to gain, atleast those whose rich dads exists cant write better than kiyosaki.if you dont like him or his style simply let us know instead of giving him a bad name.

This is Roberts Rejoinder to John Reed. And if its been posted before, then my apologies.

I would also advice you to read the whole page. And like someone there said, its easy to criticize, and pull down, but what have you and I done to be relevant to the world, and to our communities? How have we endeavored to separate ourselves from the "pack" and do great things?

Just food for thought.

Rich Dad inspired me to go buy my first shares, and start investing seriously. Go figure.

yes, rather than criticizing, try his principles first and i guarantee you

you will forget about whether his 'rich dad' exists or not when those

principles begin to flood your account with money.

Anyways, if he is real or not, it does not bother me. Just 2day, I picked his book RDPD and again I saw someting captivating in it. So why are you bothered if he is real or not, I can as well post a topic that Akin Alabi is a fake Nigerian Marketer and give u some fuckin proof why he is now. Some people will agree with me.

So 4get dat and invest in your own future. There is power in the mind.

question is: have you tried even one of the principles and did it work?

I have read roughly three of his books, and all i noticed where repeation. Integrity is a very key attribute, which he, Robert doesn't have. His best teacher keeps changing and couple to the fact that he mentioned rich dad as his teacher, a fictional character that doesn't exist. So where did the lessons come from. When been asked about if rich dad was real, all he could say was asked if harry porter was real. Na film we dey watch. I strongly believe in practice. So we could still pardon him for creating fictional character and go with members that said learn from his principle. My question is simply, are there really new principle in that book or cliche. How best can you explain the fact that three people where giving money to invest while Robert tutor them on it. The larger percentage failed. The guy is just a salemans man period.

true talk. try the principles first before complaining.

0

Exactly what I intended to tell them.

You worry about the wrong things by asking that question.

You should have tried his business ideas and see if he is telling the truth or lying.

That is the important point.

0

what does it matter whether his rich dad exists or not? just learn from

his principles and move on.

At the end of the day, My great guru and solution provider(Kiyosaki) does not need to ask you before eating Garri or taking the first class bus of an aircraft. He has succeeded in making it, I pull my cap for the guy because it no easy to see that kind road. Akin Alabi go depart with your N25000 just to set you up as millionaire. Robert is currently writting a book called _The conspiracy of the rich._ He has successfully pioneered that industry and that's what it takes to make it big.

That is as much I could say about the dude's book. Its just motivational.

As for having unique ideas (emphasis on unique) ideas of making money, cant say I found anything really new. Its all old ideas repackaged in a palatable way to feed the minds of those who are in dire need of motivation.

Why can't people just be happy for another person's success. afterall they said life is 'turn-by-turn.'

THAT GUY IS JUST BEEEEEFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact, I am reading one of his books "Retire Young Retire Rich" presently and it is highly motivational.

Yep. That is it. "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George Clason is another book which is based on story-telling but full of inspiration to motivate one to financial freedom.

I like these books as I have learnt a lot in tems of how to become rich legally from them and I am already practicing their principles. Whether it is folklores or fairytales, doesn't matter to me.

I know I am late on this but I must say something,

I never really paid any attention RDPD until sometime this when I bought the book he co authored with Donald Trump, and his book 'Before You Quit Your Job'(?) Now I am reading RDPD and 'Cashflow' is in que.

This man's book literally took the veils off my eyes. I CAN NEVER BE POOR! NEVER

Failures and half witts always distract others. They delay and destroy destinies.

Robert  Kiyosaki by that story was conveying a message and if it sinks in you and you practilise it you will be like the rich dad.

Many such messages are not meant for killers of destiny.

JUST TAKE THE MESSAGE.

As I've read this thread, it sparked me to give my 2 cents due to the clarity of the topic to the masses.

I too invest in the real-estate market as well as the stock market and have made over a million dollars from less than zero money $0 in less than 13 years using some of the same as well as some different methods. Yes, I was too broke, living on a couch with nothing but a small truck and a trash bag full of clothes.

Robert’s validity of the story shouldn’t be of question. I feel anyone that can spark the interest of the masses to change the way they think about their finances and life in a more informative positive manner should be rewarded.

The rich do get richer due to their openness of information that they read from a variety of sources. Intelligence is the fabrication that will reward you if you take action and have perseverance.

Thank You,

@ mendax,

at least in a movie, there is always the fine print at the end. Let me see if I remember; "this is a work of fiction. Any similarities to actual events or to people, living or dead, is purely coincidental and unintended". When they make a movie about someone or an actual situation, they say "based on the life of" or "based on actual events". Certain professions (journalism, ministry, financial advice) are based on intergrity. Would you allow yourself (assuming you are a xtian) to be pastored by a fornicating reverend? Does his sin mean he can't teach you about, say, tithing? While I don't compare RTK's work to that of a minister (it's not even close), the point is intergrity is implicit in both jobs.

Take the lessons, but with a pinch of salt.

And if you want the thread to die a natural death, leave it alone?

i dont know why this issue is being over flogged, does it matter if a story is true or fake? i think the idea is to pass certain knowledge which is what kiyosaki is doin. must of us have admitted dat we'v gaind alot from the books. personall, i'm not a great fan of the type of investment he is sellin but i still admit his books are educative. in any event, i hav options; if u r the black belle type & u r not happy with the number of bks he is sellin u can go ahead & photocopy it so dat the returns dont go bak to him! OR u can be like the rest of us who watch hollywood movies (even though we know they are fiction) but extract the lessons and move on!

cheers

I am a big fan of Robert too, but I think the rich dad think is fake.

I dont believe he has anybody called rich dad, it was all a strategy in order to sell more.
