Did you know which of the Nigerian pastors have their own private jets? Let us find it out together in this article.
It is always interesting to know who of the prominent people have the highest income, and that is why not so long ago journalists have conducted an investigation to see who of the pastors in Nigeria own private jets. As it turned out, Nigerian pastors top the list of those rich people that own a luxury like a private jet.
Some of them claim that they never bought but received it as a present from their congregation while others admit that they saved up money to get it for their ministry needs. So let us see who among the church leaders of this state the lucky owners of private airplanes are.
Before we get to the pastors with private jets, let us see, for the justice sake, who are way richer than these religious figures. Our first richest man on this list is Aliko Dangote. He owns a couple of jets that he uses for his personal needs. Our next rich person with a private airplane is also not a pastor. His name is Asiwaju Tinubu, and he used to be a prominent leader of the Nigerian government.
Number four on our list, right after Orji Kalu, is a church leader named Bishop David Oyedepo. As it turned after an investigation, Pastor Oyedepo owns a couple of private jets. For those of you who do not know who this pastor is you should be aware that he is a Christian leader of a church named Living Faith Church World Wide, or in other words it is called Winners’ Chapel.
This pastor has even managed to get into the Guinness Book of World Records, as he is preaching at a church auditorium that can fit at least fifty thousand people. This church has its headquarter in Ogun State in Nigeria, but can be found in three hundred other cities among 45 African peoples. Pastor Oyedepo does not only own a private jet but is also considered to be the richest Christian leader in Africa, according to Forbes in 2011.
The next Nigerian pastor that has a private jet is Enoch Adeboye. He is a head of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. As people familiar with this church before Pastor Adeboye became in charge of it state, it was not big and had a far less numerous congregation. However, as pastors vision was to make church known and available it grew, and the word about it spread.
It is believed to be one of the first and foundational charismatic churches of Nigeria today. Its leaders mention that they want to have a church available and open for people on the entire planet. Pastor Adeboye got pretty wealthy in the course of foundation and helping the church grow. That is how he got his private jets he is now also famous for.
After Mike Adenuga, Ali Modu Sheriff, Mohammed Indimi, Rotimi Amaechi, and Godswill Akpabio on our list comes Ayo Oritsejafor. Ayo Oritsejafor is a pastor of a Nigerian Church who also has a jet; however, as he explained in an interview his aircraft was given to him as a present and has nothing to do with how much he makes as a pastor. Ayo Oritsejaforis a preacher of Word of Life Bible Church in Nigeria. He used to be a President of Christian Asociation of Nigeria. He was a pioneer in what became known as a Miracle Crusade that was broadcast throughout the world. This pastor is not afraid of persecutions and tensions he regularly faces from different places. He claims that when he agreed to lead a church he knew that it would not be pain-free. So he has all the courage and determination he might need on this road.
Finally, another religious figure with a private jet at his disposal is Temitope Balogun Joshua. He is 53 years old and is known for the participation in the spread of the Emmanuel TV. This person also claims to be a prophet. He used to share the Gospel from the Christian TV channel for all the people of Nigeria to hear about his Lord, Jesus Christ.
He is also a founder of what is known today as the Synagogue, Church of All Nations. The primary goal of this Christian organization is to become a place where people of all backgrounds can meet Jesus Christ through the sermons, teachings, and other means of sharing the Gospel. This organization is in charge of Emmanuel TV that is situated in Lagos, Nigeria.
The rest of the list of people from Nigeria that own private jets are businesspeople, politicians, and people of show-business. It became known that Nigeria is the richest African country if considering this based on the number of private jets owned by its citizens. No other countries can boast of having so many people holding their own air transportation.
