The end of the last year has brought Nollywood and Nigeria several sad losses among some of its most talented actors. Dede One Day passed away in December 2015. Young actor boy Olamide David passed away in the very beginning of 2016 and Sikiru Adeshina A.K.A Arakangudu died on January 8, 2016. And now we have another loss – on February 15, 2016. Mike Odiachi is dead.
When did Mike Odachi died?
Mike Obi Nkemakonam Odiachi passed away in Delta State on the 15th of January in the Oshimili South Local Govt of Ikorodu.

At the moment of his death the actor Odiachi was 51 years of age. He was one of Nollywood veteran actors. His acting career has started back in 1980s in theater. Later on he started starring in movies. One of the best of his roles is the role of Innocent Man in the Igodo movie.
Among some of the other of his projects are: “The Gods Are Not To Blame”, "Keboti," Odewale, "Prophet of Doom," "Scam Files" and "Super Story”. He was the one who co-worked with BBC World Service on their Story Story project and voiced the character of Linus Igbokwe.
Mike Odachi was one of the members of the renowned Attahiru National Troupe of Nigeria. His alma mater was University of Ibadan. He promoted Nigerian Universities Theatre Arts Festival and put forward his efforts to improve student experience in theatre.
His filmography includes over 80 movies and some popular TV series. The role of the Chief in “Lekki Wives” has brought him more fame. At first he resided in Lagos, but later on the actor moved his home to Asaba.
He was married and had two kids. Now his family and friend mourn the bitter loss of this talented actor and kind and loving person.

Artistes Night and Service of Songs would be held on February 23, 2016. This night would be dedicated to honoring the talent of the late Mike Odiachi. It would be done in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
