why not go for bandwidths on fiber optics solution. you will get the speed that you really require. i costs just 17500 a month. but its static. its not like a modem that you move around with. its either at home or in the office. heavy files download and uploads can be assured. 07030106698

I have been using Swift (Classic) for about a year now and have been impressed with their customer service.

I get sms alerts whenever the system is temporarily down and when service is resumed as well as on other important issues that may affect me.

Personally I feel that with so many options out there of similar optimum performance, good customer service informs my choice.  I'm staying with Swift.

@lynxmoon

This is our strategy and that within an hour you would be able to accomplish so much with the N250.00 or the N150.00 for thirty minutes. However we would send updates on the hotspot to the management and their decision would be final ok.

Blame it on government policies.Frequency license alone for 3G is about N140m for Lagos (tier 1).

@lynxnoon

Do you need a compromise on speed so that we could reduce the monthly recurring? I would be waiting for your response

The answer is YES. But they only sell tickets or recharge internet time cards between 9am - 6pm.

The Hotspot signal is always on 24 hours but you need a ticket to access the net.

I must first of all appreciate the landers that posted this topic, well I apologize to those of us who did complain of swift services but the fact remains that in trying to upgrade out services,things may not work out for some clients but it really would improve.

I use this opportunity to assure our client that the speed would improve and you would notice it in no time meanwhile the hotspot is not just speed but a super speed browsing,I encourage everybody with wifi enabled gadget to try it

I would drop my official email address for you guys to contact me if you have issues with your browsing- tufot@swiftng.com.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve,I remain loyal to our client.

@spikedcylinder

Whats the average download speed of MWeb in KiloBytes per second?

The average Swift Hotspot download speed I got was 300KB/s or 2400Kb/s.

Mweb is still the fastest I've seen here so far.

I was at the Swift Hotspot location in Silverbird Galleria today. The free trial ended today.

I have to say that I was really impressed with what I saw.

I was downloading 3 files simulatenously each at a speed of 120KB/s.

Sorry I couldn't get a snapshot but the next time I'll be their I'll get one and post.

After the free trial, 30 minutes will be sold at N150 and 1 hour at N250.

I have to say its one of the fastest wireless network so far and I hope it spreads across more cities in Lagos.

hello nairalander why not try starcomms Genie Izap I use it and I think it is ok. Also the recurrent monthly cost is also affordable: 9am - 9pm N7000, the download speed is between 33 - 40kbps.

all this hunky junky advert is just a HYPE, I use IPNX at home and in the office, for now their service is a bit okay. but the dream of having 1meg download or more cannot be achieve until we have fiber in this country, so dont believe any advert.

that is the word.

most naija services are over hyped and over priced. one would have tot paying in advance would reduce the prizes.

Don't believein the super speed adverts from Swift through Zoom networks,if you need a super fast network,it aint as cheap as they are offering,we are all sharing bandwidth that explains the fluctuation.we don't have the super highway pipeline in Nigeria,this networks claiming 200MB in 2Min's should be sued!

its Expensive, better to get your own connection, i thought the free access ended yesterday.

Swift is all mouth, i use their "Broadband" service now and its no much faster than my dial up
