Gender Discrimination, How real in Nigeria?

This is to draw evidence of claims of gender discrimination in Nigeria. Pay parity or difference do exist in UK and USA, Nigeria is gender violence. pls talk out!

The human rights record of Nigeria remains poor and government officials at all levels continue to transmit serious abuse.

According to the us state Department, the most significant human rights issues: extrajudicial killings and use of excessive force by security forces; impunity for abuses by security forces; arbitrary arrests; prolonged detention prior to judicial process; judicial corruption and Executive influence on the judiciary; violence; torture and other cruel, brutal or degrading treatment of prisoners, detainees and suspects; harsh and life-threatening conditions in prisons and places of detention; human trafficking for the purpose of prostitution and caused labour; societal violence and vigilante killings of; the children's workforce, the maltreatment of children and child sexual exploitation; female sexual distortion (FGM); domestic violence; discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, region and religion; restrictions on freedom of Assembly, movement, press, speech and religion; infringement of privacy; and reducing the rights of citizens to change the government.
