Why Do Africa Think Its ENTITLED To Foreign Aid?

If African leaders get their resources together - they can come out of its SELF-IMPOSED poverty state.

but NO - African leaders take the AID and pad their Swiss bank accounts.

If Africans don't care about Africans.

Why should the world?

Someone said mandingo is ignorant . . . this confirms it

In comparison to what? Nigeria is just the size of Texas. Do you expect our GDP to be as high as that of a continent?

95% of Nigeria's GDP comes from oil. .

That is not a real GDP. Try removing the whites, lets figure out your GDP after 5 yrs. Foolish boy.

The AA economy has been run by whites for 200yrs so shut up.

Yeah sure . . . the Haitians would sure love if we could buy them. Too bad they chose to go form a country on their own rather than remain slaves on plantations. You descendants of slaves turned out to be the lucky ones.

FINE!

But Nigeria's GDP is a meager $296 Billion.

and MOST OF THAT comes from Nigerians in the Diaspora.

African Americans GDP = 700 Billion and counting

keep in mind:

Nigeria =162 million people

African Americans = 40 million people.

WE CAN BUY YOUR COUNTRY TWICE OVER!!!!

kick rocks.

i was just about to post that. numerical values have nothing to do with purchase power. 117 naira will buy the same thing 2 dollars can buy. if Zimbabwe redenominates its currency as 1:1 with the US dollar, that doesnt make it as strong.

basic econ lol

no wonder the white man once said - if you want to hide something from an AA, u're better off placing it in a book.

Get some education mr Madingo II:

1 U.S. dollar = 96.4785335 Japanese yen

1 Japanese Yen = $0.010269

Care to ask what one Yen can buy? Well sorry Japan is the world's second largest economy and her car giant, Toyota, far outsells those hopeless behemoths ur country has. Try sneering at the Japanese . . .

We don't take aid from any other country anymore. After Nigeria paid off it's debts, we stopped getting aid.

Your an you know that right? LOL

Ethiopian money is higher than Nigerian Naira. Is that country living a better life than the poorest person in Nigeria?

Use you brain for once why don't you.

Look @ the person judging us, LMFAO. African-Americans please take care of your community before giving ANYONE an advice.

Hell if we follow AA's ways we still going to be poor. Might as well shoot ourselves while we at it.

Richest person in African-American community is a rapper or a sports player or in some kind of entertainment.

The richest person in Nigeria is a businessman and his also the richest black man alive.

Do you think he needs an advice from an AA?

I thinks it’s because the country cannot afford the aid that is needed otherwise they would have rejected the aid.

1 British Pound = 178.776 Nigerian Naira

Africans, Indians, Chinese and even bilingual Mexicans will be hired before you.

Lazy illiterate folks

Keep lining up for welfare and government cheese and delivering babies like roaches all over the place.

More than half of y'all have no clue who your fathers are

Your mamas don't even know either

are there no viable AA sites for you to carry your madness to?

will they e-gun you down in cold blood?

For Lucrabrasi:

Corruption is a global phenomenon, intelligible only in its social context. It can he defined as anti-social behaviour conferring improper benefits contrary to legal and moral norms, and which undermines the authorities' capacity to secure the welfare of all citizens. In Nigeria it became the principal means of private accumulation during the decolonisation period, in the absence of other means, and came to shape political activity and competition after independence.

All subsequent regimes, military and civilian, have been pervaded by corruption. Aided and enhanced by oil revenues, this has created a deepening crisis of kleptocracy, shown in is most extreme form since 1984. It results in a combination of scandalous wealth among the ruling class with growing poverty, misery and degradation among the mass of Nigerians. Political life has become dominated by winner-take-all factional struggles, political cynicism and violence, while the economy and social institutions have been driven into decay.

Corruption has thus become a way of life in Nigeria, one which existing governments neither wish to, nor can, control. Combating corruption requires a popular participatory democracy able to monitor and hold to account those in charge of the state and the treasury.

Thus, It sooo entrinched and systemic - there is no END.

ALSO

very important, Diapora Nigerians PROP up your GDP!

It is Nigerians from AROUND THE WORLD sending money home that GIVES NIGERIA LIFE!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4926966.stm

read that and weep, the dollar and pound is getting weaker against the naira and more and more multinationals are doing business with us,we can go nowhere but up so read up on stuffs before shooting off your mouth,as for poverty being self imposed, ill give you a reading assignment go and google"european and american agriculture rebates"and you will realise that africa has been saddled with the burden of competing against though non organic and inferior live stock and food stuffs, fruits from the western world sold at rock bottom prices, under cutting our prices on the world market and the respective governments making up the shortfall by paying their farmers to produce as much as they can and then literaly leave the produce to rott away, you need to start reading, A LOT

You have to realize that many African Countries that receive foreign aid actually put it to use.Liberia is a BIG EXAMPLE!!The money that The US Lend to The Liberian Government is Put To use for their necessary purpose.Liberia have many natural resources. We need to use it to improve the country. There are African Leaders out there that are self-centered~~~BUT THERE ARE GOOD ONES ALSO!!
