Why Do Nigerians Add Salt And Pepper When Telling A Story?

The worst is my mum. Each time she wants to narrate an event, she'll add details that never were or completely change the story. Even you who was present that day will start to doubt what you saw and heard with your eyes and ears.

She might not have been there ooo but in the manner she tells the story, you'll start doubting even a direct source.

My mom does that. Like the extra details are what makes the story spicy.

Can be frustrating sometimes.

Guess you haven't heard the irish tell stories. Think salt, pepper, maggi, curry and thyme. Lol.
