why is it dat people like to argue baselesly nd witout factz,findingz nd sortinz...ev body knwz universities hav the theories while the polys ar better wit practicalz...

polys are up front in terms of practicals...i am a living testimony...we work our ass up al day like we abt to proof a theory...

Polys are popular, but you can get problems with employment getting your degree there. There are several reasons why Universities are more preferable. For one, a person can enter a Poly with lower grades which would not permit them to enter a University. Plus, the curriculums in Polys and Universities are different. And the last option provides you with deeper knowledge on engineering. If you wish to obtain a degree in engineering, you would still have to go to a University and stay there for two more years after you finish the Poly. POLYTECHNIC TAKE THE LEAD IN THE STUDY OF ENGINEERING BUT UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IS MATCHING UP IN RECENT TIME.

In the past it was better at polytechnics but better studied at the university when merits & demerits are considered.
