Should teachers be replaced by computers?

Do you think it is possible? Think teachers are still needed, when we get all the information from Internet?

Hello to all readers of this site! Quite an interesting question! Indeed whether to keep teachers when all the information is in the computer and the Internet ?! My opinion is that teachers should be to educate our children, but also be a special place and computers! That teachers through their knowledge of computer and other machines have to teach! It is true that computer - it's only machine that is programmed and possible malfunction! And even more when taught man, then there is a factor to stimulate and encourage learning, which is also important!

It's very interesting question. I think they should have done it a long time ago. But partially. It would be great if we divide science and communication. For example, computers are more effective to teach pupils some boring rules, it's more objectively to prove their knowledge with computer tests. But (!) computers can't teach how to be an honest man, how to think creative, how to invent something new. Studying at school or university should be changed. Definitely. But without teachers we wouldn't have the best result. I think the best combinationis teacher+computers

I belong to those, who have a profession of teacher. So it is sraightly the question that disturbs me personaly. From the one hand, the teacher teaches not only the subject - he may teach the pupils also some good habits, explain what is bad and what is good and so on. From the other side, when teacher expreses some opinion - it is only his opinion and pupils should not think the same way. they should grow as personalities, who have their own point of wiev. But i think that it is a great idea, but still has to be the person to controll the process of such education.

I am sure that the Internet does not replace the teacher. Yes, we can find in the Internet the information necessary for us, to read it, learn something new. But the Internet does not teach us to correct grammar mistakes, does not carry the full information, not share personal experiences. Internet has a supporting function and is a good helper in study. Teachers should work. In our world, completely replace the human to a computer is not possible. Maybe it will happen, but only after thousands years.

I think the discussion about whether to replace the computer teacher since the creation of the first computers. The rapid development of information and communication technologies only exacerbated this problem. Ironically, new ways of getting information to a greater extent today is owned by the students. Option if the computer on the basis of their own information, could offer the program of training of the child at this stage is unavailable to us. That's not good. After all, the native education deprives a person of creativity and opportunities to make mistakes, necessary for the present development and finding their own way. That is why the question "can a computer replace a teacher?" - regardless of the level of technology - we can safely answer "no".

The fact that the computer can not replace a teacher odnoznachno.V Internet you can read a lot, but not everything is given to understand yourself. Sometimes you need someone to rozyasnyv material point is required declarations of rights. Also teachers not only teach the material, they are also engaged in parenting. We can say raising their psychological side. Also the child needs to live communication, which she does not get sitting at the computer. Children at the school to discuss some topics, learn to express their views, develop memory. Is the student will get it from the computer?

I think teachers really need and without them would be difficult. So we can find a lot of information on the Internet. But the Internet did not explain to us the information that we do not understand. There are different types of people. One can not self study material, others not. Thanks to the teachers a person learns to behave themselves properly. Also, get used to the team at school. If teachers could replace computers, then higher education institutions are not required. You can make college online. Passed person training, immediately passed the tests and received a diploma. But no one is sure of its knowledge, because all successfully answer can be found in the computer.

The computer is not the same, because sometimes a child needs to explain how to speak their language, tutors have their own approaches to different children. A computer is not a living machine, which is a different can not explain. And children are no longer afraid of the teacher narugaet for not performing the task, and it is their very lazy to study. The computer is also a big influence on the health of the child, suffering back eyes, and nervous system. I am against such a study, and would not want my baby sat for hours in the monitor. I wonder whether such technologies will come true, and when I will wait for news.

I cannot imagine more difficult proffesion that teachers have because of human factor - very naughty pupils with irresponsible parents- many young teachers escape from their work. But computer will not escape, will not take sick-list and will not demand bigger salary. Just presentation of new teaching material ... day by day... Let`s point out minuses of such teaching method - the load on the student`s eyes, irradiation, lack of eye contact and helping hand. My thought is that teaching using computer is additional but not principal.

As for me I think it's impossible. Because computer it's just a machine. And they can not get out of the program. And sometimes there are situation when you can explain something to a human but not to machine.

Well i think yes ofcourse it could be, but its not the best idea. No machine never can replace a human. Besids its really look strange when your teacher is a computer.

If now we will replace teachers by computers than later what? will we replaced friends, parents by computers and internet?..
