~Unless you plan to marry the Profession itsellf,i beliveve there's an Individual behind the Profession ?!! ~ Is it any wonder the women who marry "The Profession & Lifestyle" always  have their r/s & marriages on the rocks!!

~I suppose i can understand the fascination . . .the glam lifestyle of "WAGS" make it look like its an extra-ordinary cool thing to bag a Footie Player with much emphasis placed on the "Professional Footballer" instead of the Individual!!

do you really love a footballer beumi?

No!---Prefer a more stable profession that is more conducive for raising a family--not on the road like most athletes. Most are barely educated and "talk" funny too. I can't handle that for the rest of my life even with all the money in the bank. I don't believe in "sports" scholarships! Just my opinion.

@ Omo, women are generally seen as gold diggers or people that dig gold- aren't they? Don't rely totally on the dude's money or you will be thrown out with nothing in no time. Am glad those dudes learnt from Ray Parlour and they insist on pre-nups thesedays. Women have another reason to marry footballers, the latter have all their stamina stored in their waistline due strenuous exercises and to Erupt is almost late and women love those kind of 'poles'

@omo: you claim to not be after money but there's nothing wrong with wanting money as long as you are willing to earn it yourself. You have every right to earn your own money and spend it as you please. Thank you

Footballers are generally not rich. Only the few ones that play internationally are rich, and their riches won't last as long as that of a businessman because once their bodies age they will be tossed aside like dirt. Ask Yekini.

if i and a footballer were seein each other long before he became popular or rich, i wld marry him. i wldnt marry a guy who i met as a rich and famous footballer becos he might later begin to think im a gold digger and i happen to not be after money so basically for d most part, i probably wldnt marry a footballer .

Majority of these wags live very superficial lives and are in sham marriages.

TO the question. Yes i can marry a footballer, he is a man aint he? long as he is a good man. I think it depends on who you meet. They not all like Becks,Lampard,Roons etc. One footballer i really respect and love is Stephen Gerrard, very down to earth, not over exposed, dont see him doing the footballers party circuit.

As a man, you can marry a female footballer if you want to. Have you forgotten the Super Falcons as well as female football leagues around the world? You can marry them!

However, I don't want to marry a footballer. I'd rather share my life with a woman who does brainwork.

Let's put it like this: I'm male so I can't marry a footballer. But I'd be very unhappy (extremely so) if Babayaro for example proposes to my sister and she turns him down. BUt then again, it's her life not mine. . .
