Helping your wife in the kitchen is no big deal. I've been married for 10years now. When i was in secondary school, one of my father's tenants used to help his wife pound yam. We laughed at him then, not knowing the real meaning of love. When a man love a woman, i mean real love, he does not care what anybody says or think. I am a very good cook. My wife knows that and respects me for that. I used to do the cooking most times as i enjoy doing it. Pounding yam is a child-play until she misbehaved. It was not that she asked me to pound yam that made me to stop helping in the kitchen completely. She got power-drunk when i was down financially. She almost turned me to a house-boy until her kid-sister banned me from the kitchen. I tried to forgive her but each time i remember what she did, i feel like throwing up. She's scared of me now as she is not sure if i love her or not. Women out there, stop taking your husband for a fool if he try to show that he loves you.

invisible, like your name aptly implies, you are insignificant. You dont have a level. Infact you are beneath a maggot in the animal kingdom. It'd be best if you kept quiet and let humans speak.

Im sure your wife is busy working while you are here arguing with girls like the pathetic gay that you are. Alailojuti.

You seem to love her more for her skills in the kitchen? What happens when she can no longer cook for you?

dude can barely make tea, how mature can he be.

he thinks its a good idea to rush his mom over if his wife isnt around or sick, is that a sane person?

Cant say you envy ma wife? You should not envy her because she is better than you already. The queen mother herself! She makes me feel like am her son, the best cook in the world, always on time.

Thief, better find your level.

Your struggle with English is amazing. Na by force? Speak your language, someone will translate it for me. Better than this juvenile mess above

what business do you have that you cant even express yourself properly yet when you wonder why it's easy for "diasporians" to take your jobs.

F for Failure.

If she cant cook, I will manage to do tea, buy her plenty of fruits/food and call my mom or hers fast. She has never gotten sick like that.

Wouldnt a normal person be watching a thing or two while she's cooking? This is how if she's sick or has travelled, sneaky women can easily come around and break homes in the name of "helping", cos lazy dudes like this oloribu cant do a thing for themselves

0
Avatar

you seem to be just fine with her doing the cooking while you sit there and gist. What happens when she cant go to the kitchen for a week? will she starve?

0
Avatar
Newbie

Since when is gisting like a gay while she runs around something to be proud of.

And I thought she had ran away? Just let me fix this little bastard. You have little bain in you to think you can rant with me? And brush your teeth first, your mouth, or your panties are smelling. I can percieve the odour from here!

Thief of panties!

@ Davidylan, she knows I cant cook and will do anything to stop me spoiling her good dishes. Our love is not only in the kitchen its everywhere. I can only sit in the kitchen and gist and laugh till she will finish, she is so so efficient.

@ Davidilan, supposing she is tired and am tired also. My business is always hectic and leaves me in little shape to pound. But she must not pound it herself. She could just call me and wish for pounded yam and it will be there as I come home from work. We can use the spare time to play love.

The recession part descibes your situation Oloshi, you are so poor that eating out iritates you. Go and do postitution to level up. .

0

I wonder. Whole world is in recession and avoiding dining out, this one is yapping. Lazy lunatic. Anything wrong with people doing stuff together, she could get the stew ready, while he helps with the pounding. Both of you then enjoy your sweat together.

Arindin.

0

huh? what happened to your own hands if she's tired? I bet she'd appreciate you more if you saved the money for eating out by cooking her something no matter how poor . . .

Sure, i dont mind doing it. Most women dont have the energy to make it as smooth as you want it anyway.

Or buy her minna yam, its very easy to pound and doesnt leave too many lumps.

Thief, I wish I understand Yoruba, I would have replied you. Please learn to respect other peoples views, your own should not be right just because you think its right. Like I said before, lay down ya points and stop cursing!

0
Avatar
Newbie

@ Hauwa, pls understand me, my point is that the pounding should be the man's idea not forced to do so. I wont support anyone forcing their wife to cook, if she is tired then we can eat out.

abi o. Didnt know such mutants even exist Just yarns trash upon trash. Must suck to be so insignificant.

Bros Davidylan, she started all these and I begged her to stop. Please allow me to finish her once and for all.

For someone who obviously molests his husband to be talking balderdash here is unacceptable.

Oloshi! Go and jump into the lagoon where your likes are thrown before I lynch you. Feminist pig!

Lest I forget, my point is that men can pound for their wives, but it should not be her demanding for it to be done. If I happen to be sitting and gisting with ma wife inside the kitchen and she wants to pound yam, I can tell her to pass the job to me. But for her to come and call me out of the telly to come and pound in the kitchen and you allow that, one day she will come and pull you from your business discussion at the sitting room to pound pepper!

Bottom line, all men should work hard to make the wifey happy, not coming to pound yam, I be houseboy? I want to be like Dangote. Abi the guy dey pound yam for him house?

Why do women always come online to wash their dirty undies? Thief, just go and work hard at your relationship. Laziness will kill love anyday. One day and someone will come here and ask,

Should the man help her wife put on always pad during her menstrual period? There are things that dont require answers. Please lets stop the insult even if you dont like my views, its an open forum. Have your say.

Long as it's not an everyday thing. My brother give women an inch and they rush to take a mile. Do not fall into that trap. BIKO!

Somehow, I feel the kitchen is the woman's headqtrs. If she needs yams pounded, she should make decisions that must not include me. She may hire help, tell her kids to do it, or buy pounded yam. The kitchen should be off limits to the man.

0

Why not just buy her a yam pounder. I never saw my mom pound anything in her life. She had a yam pounder that boiled the yam and when it was boiled she turned the button and it pounded the yam. 2009 and we still talking about this?
