Which Helps Your Hair Grow Faster, Braids Or Locks?

Hey I just wanted to know if Locks or Braids make your hair grow faster because I wear braids a lot but my hair often brakes off because of the tightness of the braid, i wanted to try locks but my friends told me it was too messy, so which one do you guys perfer?

None really helps the hair grow faster. All hair grows at almost the same rate. The only way to see the growth/length is to protect the ends from breaking or splitting. Both braids and dreads help in protecting the ends.

i say both! c o s they both lead to minimal disturbance of the hair in terms of non combing ,brushing ,pulling or tugging, so the hair grows faster with minimal shedding

braids can be unbraided(temporary) but locks are permanent,

None man. If you want your hair to stop breaking. Stay off extensions for a while and try hair strengthener its presently working for me

One thing i realized is that those with dread locks have longer hair, anyway it depends on individual's hair texture, for me braids makes my hair fuller, and if it stays too long, it makes weaker.

So both braids n locks r cool,it depends on ur hair texture,

Braids makes my hair grow faster, and i also think it depends on the stylist. Some stylists are so tight-handed that when u start loosing ur hair,it breaks always.

for me,braids helps my hair grow faster. When i make braids,i wear it for close to a month plus and when i loose it.OOPS!i see the difference difference.

It depends on the stylist who makes ur hair for u,some are so tight handed that the pack the whole of ur brain.so,maybe u shud try another stylist.
