@op

It depends on what I'm having with the vegetables. If I'm eating fried or jollof rice (or any other non-white rice), I'll eat or mix any vegetable on the plate into the rice: broccoli, carrots, celery, scallions, peas, etc.

Also, on a sandwich or burger, I can tolerate many vegetables: tomatoes (I'm not sure but I think that that's technically a fruit), onions, lettuce, sauerkraut, pickles, etc.

But if the vegetable is just sitting there on the plate waiting to be eaten by itself, the only veggies I like are corn, beans, yams, and potatoes.

Is watermelon not a fruit?

I love my veggies, my favourite of cause is SPINACH steamed and i do have a bowl of salad everyday and when i say salad i don't mean typical Nigerian salad with eggs and all that creamy stuff. My salad has carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, and a little cheese with light dressing, yum yum! And finally i love to snack on raw broccoli and cauliflower.

I love veggies but not all of them. Many are called few are not chosen. I hate watermelon right from the beginning of time. I tried tasting it again last year but my taste buds just can't stand it.

When I was a lass, broccoli was boiled with rice served with salad(raddish, spring onions, cucumber, lettuce, kidney beans, sprouts, carrots, runner beans, sweet corn & Irish potatoes) ate the salad and left the rice! Thought it was unusual . . . Green rice. . . Didn't eat it then cos I thought it was unripe! And the broccoli- uprooted miniature baobaos! But now- bottoms up!

P.S. Pawpaw-

best eaten hard and crunchy mmmh.

Learnt to eat boiled carbages in college . . . excellent way of curbing ur hunger and nutritious to boot.

Raw lettuce on salads is a must.

Pawpaw . . . just ripening and still hard - i could eat a small whole one in those days.

Peas i like, never been a fan of green beans . . . just disgusting especially when inside fried rice. It disturbs the flow.

Tried boiled onions (the white one)? Superb!

The worst vegetable of the yr goes to the cucumber.

I am very picky when it comes to food especially veggies. Count me out when it comes to broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus to mention a few, mere looking @ them puts me off. But carrots, corn, spinach (sometimes, depending on how it is prepared), peas, green beans, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and cabbage, i eat those. Whao, with all the veggies i eat, i don't think i am in trouble health wise if i don't eat broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus. oh i forgot, olive too is a no no.

It is really amazing to hear people talk so ill of vegetables in this century, we need to grow up as a nation and as a people.Veggies are very good for your health although sometimes not the sweetest of all food, do you expect it taste like sugar? It is also a fact that it boost our immune system and increase our general health, if you are grown and expect someone to force you to eat vegie, na you sabi, check out this video see what Badu is drinking-if she can do this , then, http://www./video/x4guhw_erykah-badu-on-106-park_music

It's so funny to see people who dislike vegetables especially from the west cos men y'all are the originators of vegetable salad so why so squeamish??!!

As for me bring it on! They are lite (non-fattening), delicious n healthy; matter of fact just bought a whole lot of carrots. YUM!!!

What are our gils turning into?

I was going through the phone of a friend the other day and found video coverages of OSU students- males and a female precisely, in a bath tub stark Unclad, romancing, caressing and actually making love and then recording it with their phones.

Pls, is the level of moral decadence now in universities?
