What is fascinating about this disease is the existence of alter personalities in one body. They might be completely different one from another, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde or the patterns of their behavior might be quite similar. All alter personalities of one patient can peacefully coexist with each other and even collaborate when it`s needed. In other patience, it can be seen that personalities fight with each other for domination over one body. In one case all personalities know about each other existence, while in other cases one true personality does not know about the actions of the false one.
