Are We Cool?

If an acquaintence of the opposite sex says to you, "So you want us to be cool?" what would that mean to you?

Similarly, if someone of the opposite sex said he or she was looking for someone with whom he/she could "kick it," what does that mean to you?

sounds innocuous to me. i think they connote, "I'd like to date you," but I take it they may have individual meanings?.

It's usually used to ask for casual sex.

Never heard of someone using " Kick it" to ask for sex

Down in the Dirrty - it for fun things - hitting the club, hanging out, bar-b-q etc, usually events that involve other people.

I agree with iice, "Are we cool" usually comes after a misunderstanding of sorts, while "Kick it" means. . .

"We have sex but don't expect me to call you afterwards, don't expect me to take you to dinner or a movie, I don't want to know how horrible your day was, my shoulders are mine not yours to cry on, I go where I wanna go when I wanna go, do what I wanna do when I wanna do it with nary an input from you. And please, keep the emotional rollercoaster you girl tend to go on to yourself, okay. Now take off those clothes and jump into the bed. . .I've got only five mins before I go meet my buddies for girls ogling"

Interestingly enough, "Are we cool" can also come after laying down the rules for "Let's kick it"

I agree but never try to be cool with the likes of Sly, Klimepet or 4Play, they are rattlecobras. If you must kick it or be cool, try bawomolo, Kobojunkie or OzimaTv.

Or kick it could just straight out mean he is looking for someone to have sex with, and wondering if you are down with it,
