N-gauge, good point. And also to dicriminate against those that have been beaten up, lost in elections, lost their kids, and even lost their virginity.

*baffled* I really don't know where many of these questions come from, seriously. If it makes sense to discriminate against molest victims, it would also make sense to discriminate against men who have been mugged in the past.

Most babes I heard were Molested dont even look it. They still march around in their work or play. You cant pick out one girl from one group and say, maybe because of her composure, she has been Molested? Some things are impossible to detect on the outside. If I want to marry and meet some charming babe that looks too happy with herself, of course my first question to her will not be, have you ever been Molested?

I can go ahead and roll with her, and we could end in the altre, her past is her past and that is why I support Debosky's position. But if I am privy to the fact that one girl was Molested, and she knows I know, it might put her on the defensive about me. And it will be risky fo me to marry her. I will not marry her because she may even take any slight change in my character to be apathy towards her_ because she was Molested.

Jack tweed says he hates victims of molest and will ostacize them, well I dont hate them and dont blame them. They were overpowered by stronger persons. Its the Molester's fault. Girls that find themself in such situation should take heart. March through it and dont blame yourself.

Exactly - treat the opinion as just one and move on. Instead he is becoming the subject of the thread instead of the issue itself.

@ topic

I wouldn't classify them as 'victims' - they have passed through a terrible experience, but remaining a victim will only limit you. I can marry someone who has gone through this experience and has managed to overcome it significantly that it is not the controlling thing in her life preventing her from moving on. She might have scars alright, but she has essentially moved beyond the incident. In that regard I can marry such a person, but if the person has not overcome it, I fear I might not have the ability or character to help the person through it from scratch.

you guys are giving this jack tweed of person too much airtime that's why he continues to utter his exuberant nonsense he calls opinion. if only he knows what molest victims go through . . .

Tweed, you were too blunt and such words were so raw. How can you say that to someone hurting. I will not marry the molest victim if I know about it, for the stigma. If you dont then there isnt any probs. Marry her and there will be peace. I know many big people in the society that were Molested, my friend married one and they are living happily. Its not about the molest, its the way you make them look, like criminals. It wont surprise me if you are one serial Molester yourself. You sound like one.

Dont let me start on you this slowpoke tweeter! Calling someone hypocite when you are worse than an animal. You are the lowest of the lows, lacks feeling and should be cast into oblivion. What am against is hating molest victims, its not their fault most times. Your type will marry someone gangraped by forteen men and you wont even know. She will lie and you will accept it.

@jack tweeter, must you be so insane? I am not saying I will marry them, but your tone is so ugly. You were so insensitive and you were blaming them. I will not marry someone confimed to have HIV, but I will still talk, work, and play with them. molest victims are humans, live with that.

I dont understand whats so hard for Jack to understand.

Lots of other guys said no fair play to them but why do you need to go over the top and make molest victims out to be the scum of the earth?

0
Avatar
Newbie

I said if I know about it, if I dont then there isnt any difference between her and all others. Like I said before stats say that one out of three girls has been forcefully had against their will. That is high and most guys will still marry them. When love don scatter your head, you go remember molest or not?

the same thing i was thinking!

@ topic,

Molested victims are emotionally disturbed individuals, most esp. if they are of the feminine gender. I have had experience with them, and it is only God who can help them to overcome the trauma of that event.

What's the big deal in a girl being Molested and some of u guys not marrying her. I can't understand. molest or mutual sex, though different emotionally, It's still the same p****. So u guys can get married to a non- virgin but not a molest victim?? why aside the emotional baggage.

I think this would depend heavily on her ability to cope with the trauma.  If it is going to become a burden that strains a relationship, then no.

where did anyone say that only victims of molest can get sympathy?

anyway it's obvious you're playing devil's advocate. Mr "unique/thinks out of the box" "pretends not to be f the crowd". There are many of your kind around here. Your words arent new.

NL has gotten mad boring.

Insensitivity to another person's plight. Early signs of bad parents.

If I know the girl has been Molested, I may not marry her, but I will never make them feel bad. It may not be her fault, and she should not be ostracized just because of that. Another person will find her attractive in another location and marry them, even ashewo dey become new chasis when she change location.

Please delete this Topic Seun its clear the Mods such as Debo cannot handle their jobs.

Sharon said some women lie - Tweed says he can't marry molest victims and feels they should be ostracized. That sounds like two different cases to me.

I do not support his views, but if a thread is allowed that asks a question  about whether you can marry a 'victim' or not, then I believe you should be able to answer in the contrary without being banned. Then again, that is simply my opinion.

That tweeter guy is insane, what have you been smoking guy? You made little sense in all your long grammer. Bla bla bla like some sick goat. Some little boy that knows next to nothing.

0

Doesnt matter, Sharon made a comment once stating that some women actually lie about such so as not to seem easy(which is true) and apparently he was banned immediately, why shouldnt this jack twit's character be esp his is just so nasty and pretty much saying they deserve it.

You and other dudes might find his daft rant funny but if others are "punished" for less, he should also be dealt with. Simple

Polictical correctness gone wrong.

So I guess craddle-robbers should be given free speech as well abi?

I don't see why people should should be banned for holding contrary opinions.

The thread has asked a question and he has stated his opinion. He never said he is in support of molest, he is only unsympathetic - which is his rightful prerogative.

I do not find his opinions acceptable to me, but at the same time, censorship or calling people silly names (as people have done on this thread) never made them change their minds either. I would rather try to convince him to see the other side or ignore him.

People have been banned for such opinions before Debo. He shouldnt get a free pass esp since his is even worse. Ive reported the thread and a mod or admin had better see to it.

i don't see anything wrong in marrying a molest victim. it doesn't necessarily mean it was the lady who was Molested. besides it's not as if the victim consented to such an act. we are all humans and we all have one emotional trauma or the other, it's just finding someone who understands the situation.

0

jack tweed you are a silly heartless jerk, its because of you that girls who are Molested tend to commit suicide, If it were your daughter or your wife that was Molested, what would you do kick them out on the street, you don't know what if feels like to have gone through such an emotional rollercoaster and the kind of damage it leaves behind, You are not a good person and i hope god touches you

@jack tweed. You dont have to be that heartless! Since you don't have sisters, what if your mum was Molested? Will you deny her, walk out on her? Will she be so disgusting to you? Will you cut her off because she was Molested? Guy, try and be humane, realistic and not egocentric! You sound like a lad! Sit down and think!

0

@billyfrank, jack tweed was unfortunate enough not to have sisters, she will not have wives and sister inlaws, not even female nephews, mother inlaws. He may end up having seven daughters for all his luck!

0

@jack tweed. Try and be humane. What if your sister is Molested? Be civilised and sympathetic for once.

Stats shows that one out of three babes have been forcefully laid, either privately or in front of others.

How do you disciminate for the one you know is Molested? Some carry the scar and walk around quietly.

@ jack tweed, you will disown ya daughter if she is Molested?

@jack tweed: You re typical black man,,,I will marry a molest victim as long as she is not the cause of the molest.what do I want to do with a molest free woman who cannot capture my dreams and goals in life except that she has not been Molested?I will simply give her to jack tweed  to marry!

Check the link below and tell how you feel after reading the story there? This just just happened 2days ago.A mother and three of her daughters were Molested by armed robbers right in there house!

I don't see anything wrong with marrying a molest victim but i would need to know that she has dealt with the issue (yes i know that would stay with her for life) and she is ready to put that behind her

0
Avatar

Yes ofcourse! as long as there is true love and the lady in question is not infected in any way.

0
Avatar

why not ? was it any of her fault ?

0
Avatar
Newbie

i think it will be unfair to visit the consequences of someone past on that person especially when the person is not the author of that past. simply put, a lady that has been Molested has been traumatized enof, she doesnt nid stigmatization or discrimination. especially not in the area of love
