I have read a few threads on these forums based around this question.

Like has been said on all of threads. It all comes down to the people involved in the relationship. It has nothing to do with age. Or you should be together for x,y,z amount of years before asking the question. Believe it or not marriage is a spiritual bond on paper! A symbol of your love for your loved one. Not science. People and modern Society seem to be forgetting this. If the person you are marrying is truely your soul mate. Then the marriage should last a life time through all the bad spots and low times. What it has to do with is maturity of both parties. And above all else love. When i get married it will only be once. Through thick and thin of it. Marriage should be an adventure. Let the good times role!

I will usually know if i like a girl or not on the first date. If i dont like them for what ever reason. They don't get a second date. That being said i have only been properly in love twice in my life. But been out with loads of girls. Most of which remain friends. Which i could never imagine marrying! My current girl friend makes me feel great. I am deeply in love with her. She is so intelligent and fun to be around and loves me! And has a great personality. She accepts me for who i am entirely. Alot of blokes and women pretend to be something there not before marriage or courting goes wrong. Don't pretend one little bit! Do not lie. We have only been going out for a month. Already we are talking about sex, children and marriage! There is a 6 year age gap between us and she is still at college. I'm 23 shes 17. She brought up the sex, marriage and children subject! I would never started talking about it so soon. We have agreed at the moment not to have sex until were married and we haven't put a time limit on when we are going to,

Well i hope this in depth answer helps people. I thought an indepth answer would be better for some readers! I'm not a black and white person i'm afraid. I'm complex lol!

We are all Humans and the difference between life and death is a second,so i believe what within a time with each other, say 2 weeks, you can study each other and within 6 months, know each other relatives, before a year, marriage is made and the kids starts popping out,

@londonlady

waoh! what a formular! it's a cool combination though.

you know the both parties can be f24,m26. but rarely f36,m38.

so i think f28,m36 is just ok.

I think 1-2 yrs is good enuff so that u don't spring each other with surprises,

Anything longer than that in my opinion most likely will not lead 2 marriage,

Same band as you. Nothing in particular. I found it interesting how you surmised the convo through your answer.

32-36. . . 6 months

27-32. . . .1 year

below 27. . . .2 years

A minute is enough to tell the type of person we are.

Just a few questions and you'll know how she reasons and stuff.

People also get married after a day of knowing each other.

12 hours. Ask her and if she says no, go for the next one.

michelin this is quite crazy anyway for me i think a year or two is better to study one's partner.

27-32. . .why?

and what band are you?

Personally, I believe for a marriage to last, it depends on the courtship. Before popping the question, the couple need to know a lot about each other. To achieve this, they must first of be friends, understand each other, and needless to say love each other. However long it takes, is just enough for the big question.

EXACTLY

IF SOMETHING IS GOING TO GO WRONG IT WILL GO WRONG EVEN YOU YOU HAVE SPENT YEARS TO KNOW SOMEONE BETTER.

SO THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT

@NAJA HAJE

DONT WASTE TIME PLS

The question doesn't have a specific time limit. If you feel you know enough about the person that you can easily write the person's biography, and you see yourself happily spending the rest of your life with him/her, then the time is now.

27 -32 hmmmn you dont have so much time as such ooooh esp for the ladies.

not with all those fibroids and diseases in town.one needs to have her kids early.

so for me, below 27 something like 2-3 yrs goes.

nhhhhhhhhhhhhh

this is interesting

Well that should depend on both parties.

I have seen people date for less than 6 months and are still married till today.

So i dont think time is an essence here.

However, knowing someone for a while helps cause then u can know a bit about them.

depending on how old you are.

between the ages 32-36 ---- 6 months is about enough to make up your mind

27-32 ---- 1-2 years should do the job if you both are serious.

below 27--- you've got the luxury of time.
