Okay, she'll wash his clothes and pound yam and use the grinding stone.  .  .in addition to her already mountainous chores and house affairs to oversee.

In return he shouldn't complain when she grows big, muscular arms and quits looking sexy after a year of marriage. Also let's not forget backache and constant tiredness.  .  .including little or no time to put the necessary effort into looking beautiful.

When he goes out cheating with some fresh, sexy hottie due to wifey's constant tiredness and less than satisfactory looks he should not call her wicked for refusing to forgive/ threatening to cut off his testicles.

Not encouraging laziness on the part of women, but men please don't turn your better half into a razz house help. Y'all's first thought should be how to make her workload easier and keep her looking attractive.

Take care of her, she'll take care of you better. Now that's how to be a man.  .  .not doing everything by force and authority.

There's nuffin wrong with my woman washing my clothes. I just wouldnt expect her to wash them. If she wants to wash it,fine,if she doesnt, fine. I dont have the right to demand anything from her,and neither does any other guy.

I am so ashamed to see a man asking this kinda dumb questions, why would you ask your wife to wash your cloth? Machine cut your hands abi you be aquaphobia?

Nigerians and some stupidity.

We are no more in that nonsensical ages where the woman is slave to the husband.

if you are so serious about washing clothes, be a man and get a washing machine and anytime you tell the machine to wash the machine and refuse, beat the machine up.

Lazy bunker

Bathroom shouldn't be once in a week.

Should be every other night. The cleaner it is, the less work you have to do.

And that's where most germs abound on the house, toilet should be kept clean.

The scented decor should be replaced every 2 weeks.

Often times, we get things so wrong and never want to get out of it. There are men who were trained to do their washing by themselves. They sometimes end-up having a wife who is so dutiful, and ready to do anything for her man which includes washing his clothes. If this goes on for a while, there is the tendency for the man to become over-relaxed and never take on the challenge of washing his clothes again. In such situation, a woman should make the man understand that, if the relationship is going to work effectively, he should not see it as: ''a master - servant'' relationship.

Hence both party must be ready to sacrifice, and work in harmony and unity. A relationship should never be viewed in the eyes of: ''I am the BOSS'' so my say is the final, and what I instruct, you must obey. Never should a relationship be about 'talking to your partner' rather it should be about: 'talking with your partner.'

@ Poster,

You are in the wrong. And if you think you can continue with it, there are repercussions in the nearest future.

Easy starve her, Make her kneel down, give her frog jump if she refuse to put your food in your mouth or if she refuses to sleep for you.

Since you are disabled and not capable of doing your own laundry yourself

Maybe if you washed your own crap, you'd know how to spell "duty" correctly. Omugo.

Your mates have machines while you are there struggling with English.

Why would you be telling your wife when to wash clothes?

If that is one of the duties that yall decided she would take care of then you need to back the hell up and let her do what she do. She dont need an overseer to tell her what and when to do it. Is she in prison or something?

lol, i don't think any Naija female shud act suprised that someone shud voice this. Most African guys think it's part of their wives responsibilities to wash what they put on their bodies! I really wonder who's to blame for the mind-set of these men? Funny thing is, some women see it as an act of love , caring for their partner and caring for their home, in turn guys end up abusing the whole act and it all ends up being a big mistake. God help us all cos we definitely aren't helping ourselves!
