Is A Locket An Appropriate Birthday Gift?

I was wondering if buying a locket for your boyfriend is too much for a birthday gift. Is getting it for an anniversary better?

Get him a chain (not a locket, most guys wont wear it), or bracelet if he wears one. Those shldnt be too expensive.

@michellin- its a sweet gift, but in reality, guys mite not be all that into soveniours like that. i once got my guy an ipod for his birthday and i attached a note that it was half-loaded with songs that remind me of him, a month later it was all wiped off and half- filled with Indecency!

get him a nice jacket or sweater that can be an accessory to his dressing or a perfume.

I think the locket is a good choice of gift.

Is it the type, that can hold a tiny picture?

Michelin,

My best friend is also a student.

You know what she gave her beau?

LOL! I told her she was cheap though.

She went to Wal*Mart and made a design shirt for him.

With their pic they took together in the back. lol!

The shirt was nice though, not feminine, just right.

Maybe you can try that.

If he doesn't get me something on my birthday i won't be pleased. Since I believe what I give is what I get, I want to try and get something that conveys all my feelings!

@Michelin

No lockets.

Sure, you can buy him the perfume.

But I think the best gift is making him feel extra special on his birthday.

I'd say, take a long walk, flirt with him, joke around. Anything! Well, please practice abstinence.

@ Poster I understand you, try considering a little perfume not neccesarily big size small size I think is fine

locket is more of a feminine gift.

i think a nice perfume and after-shave cream will be ok

depending on the guy sha!

By making good use of my Nigerian genes, I could sweet mouth my dad and get something above €20.

I am a student and haven't got a summer job. I have limited resources. I don't want to go bankrupt before owning an account.

I have thought about the romantic dinner and other things. but the gift is giving me 10% sleepless nights!

I love the lockets where you can put pictures. If you can, look for pix of you two as babies. I think it's sweet.

But do guys wear lockets?

Locket? Urm, whatever floats your boat and if you know that he will like it, different strokes for different folks

me personally, i don't think it is an appropriate gift
