Is it wrong to fall in love with your in-law?

In some parts of Nigeria especially yoruba tribes, it is unacceptable to fall in love with ones inlaw (the sister to your brothers wife or brother to your sisters husband and vice versa).

However, this is the 21st century and stranger things have happened. Besides there is no relation by blood therefore I believe there should be nothing wrong with it.

What's your opinion about this? Can you marry your in-law?

I think I got the question wrong. It is totally wrong, culture or no culture. It's absurd.

I don't think it's wrong at all to fall in love with your in laws. Your in-laws can be your best friends. It's just manner of approach that matters. The thing is you will be doing a lot of favour by loving them cos they'll always be part of your life. However, you need grace in everything cos your toes will be definitely stepped on

I THINK IT VARIES WITH CULTURE. TO AFFIRM YOUR STATEMENT, IT WRONG TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR IN-LAW; BLOOD OR LINEAGE. IN THE BIBLE (OLD TESTAMENT) ABRAHAM MARRIED TO HIS BLOOD. I AM SURE SOME TRIBE FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. THUS, IT A MATTER WITH ACCEPTABLE NORM OF SOCIETY.
