Is She Cheating On Me? Pls Help

Hi All,

Please I desperately need your advice?

Yesterday while going to my girlfriends’ place, I saw her entering a hotel not too far from her house with two bags filled of clothes. (n.b she owns a boutique).

I called on her before she entered the hotel and asked her what she was up to. Though a bit surprised to see me her reply was that she wanted to market the clothes to her customers. She asked why I didn’t inform her I was coming to her place and requested I go and wait at her place that she won’t be long; I told her she should take her time that I will be going somewhere else instead.

Out of curiosity, about 20mins later I went to the hotel to make enquiries as if I wanted to lodge. I had a good look around the hotel hoping I would see her around maybe marketing to one of the hotel staff or at the bar. She was actually in a room.

Later in the day, she called me and I told her about my findings; she agreed she was in a room but it was with a female customer and her friends.

I wasn’t satisfied with her answer so I decided to probe her story deeper with the question ''why didn't her female customer come to her shop since the hotel is not too far from her shop instead of inviting her down''?

On series of confrontation to clear my doubt, I further asked her that if she was sure it was a lady, she should tell me the room number so I can enquire from the receptionist. Her replies to my series of pressure were as follows

'’ we don’t need to go that far I should either believe her or not. That it wasn’t a man she went to see’’

'’ she can’t remember the number that she was picked by the quest and taken to the room’’

'' I should make my intention of what I’m trying to make out of this issue clear to her’’

'' That she went for business and that’s all she has to say''

Please what do you think of her story? What should I do? This is a girl I really love and hope to marry.

Though I can’t prove she is cheating on me or guilty but why did she refuse to disclose the identity of her female customer or room number so I can verify?

@ Yumi

Thanks, we learn every day. Guess what I should have done was to allow her go into the hotel and call her number later to know if she would tell me where she was.

Bro, as a relationship C.I.D, my investigation shows that she is not cheating based on what you saw, my basic point is what I emboldened in ur post. Do no query her further if u dnt want to lose her. She might be cheating in other ways, but as for this main topic, she aint trust me.

i think you are being a nagging boyfriend.

what have u to gain by making unnecessry inquiries? if i were i wouldnt even ask her about anything. i will keep my suspiction to myself until i am sure of what is really going on.

afterall she was enterig the hotel with tow bags filled with cloths, that didnt sound like someone on a date to me.

or u think the bags was filled with condoms?

'' I should make my intention of what I’m trying to make out of this issue clear to her’’

for her previous statements. I have not fear about it. But for this particular statement, i might be very suspicious that something is going on. Why will she ever think of a breakup when you just asked a simple question? that is one thing with female. they want to always be right in everything they do.

All has been said, you cant really accuse her of unfaithfulness unless you can prove it. I believe you two should just talk. Like seriously. Some people can be stubborn even if they aren't guilty. And that would make you suspicious and in throw-back make them feel untrusted. I realize you already confronted her, but this tym when you want to do it, just be sweet and nice to her (i hope it'll work) and let her know how you really feel. Don't be hard and really step on your feelings if you have to. Sometimes a little humility can make you go a long long way. For now I would say give her benefit of the doubt ok dear. But that doesnt mean you stay in the dark.

I think she's cheating on you; what other explanination can one give for the kind of attitude she displayed?

Besides, if it was really true that she was with a female customer, she wouldn't have hesitated when you requested to know who she's going to see.

Her hesitation proved that the answer she gave to you is false.

You got no proofs! But if she's actually cheating, remember nothing's hidden under the sun.

I agree.

@Poster

Its hard to say if she was, if it was a friend from out of town and a customer of hers its possible if the person is a special customer, one that spends a lot she may just make a trip to the hotel. If she had a bag full of clothes its likely she was taking them there for someone. If you really thought something was wrong you should have just waited for her in the hotel lobby lol or snooped a bit what room she came out of and seen who was staying in that room. I would start to be a bit careful and start to look a bit more closely, but you don't have proper evidence yet to conclude she is cheating.

I would be highly suspicious too, but like someone mentioned there are two many unknowns and not enough equations to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

The behaviour's suspicious but not guilty till proven guilty.Next case.
