If you're thinking of two wives at this stage, please don't mess up that girls life with your 'love'. If you're really interested in being in a happy marriage, then stop lecturing her on what you think is a good relationship and simply show her.The age gap is not serious, so you should be able to communicate well. Actions speak louder than words!

teach her with your actions not by lecturing. slowly she will change.

How many times do you show you love her? Or you're sitting there like the typical nigerian dude waiting to be feted and worshipped?

There's nothing worse than a thankless significant other. They will take, take and take without any thank yous. It will drain life out of you. Find someone that is appreciative if she wont change.

The highlighted part caught my eye out of everything you wrote

So the problem is not having a happy home but the possibility of marrying 2 wives in the quest for "happiness"

Nnaa you get issues.

I'll be scared to marry you

I've told you how I arrived at that, and what my thoughts are on other possibilities (they exist albeit small in my view) so what else is left?

There are always two sides to a story no doubt - but this is a strongly held opinion about marriage. Unless she has been married before, she has definitely obtained this information from someone very important in her life who has had a bitter experience in marriage, purportedly for being 'nice' to her husband - be it her mum or other important figure. Given the info we have, I'd wager it's her mum who is the root cause of the thinking.

Didn't you hear of the case in England of a 40+ year old man blaming the abuse he suffered from a priest when he was a  boy was responsible for wrecking his marriage years and years later? He won his case in court and is getting £200,000 for it. Early life experiences matter more than you think.

oh yes her mum is really at fault

cos a lot of us grew up with our mums advice and is still going on with it, the mum must have been telling her dis right from her baby days, hence her behaviour now

though im kinda surprised cos at 29 she should know better, but after a secong thought, there r still women who are in theor 30s dat are just like her

Forget marrying her if you cant join her or she cant join you. You will inevitably have a divided and unhappy home in the very nearest future. If you dont, make I ", ".

you already know what the problem is gonna be if you get married to her

find a way to tackle that problem or move on with your life so you dont complicate things for yourself

Now that is what is called the test of real love, if both of you can handle that and handle the opposition from her and your parents then you are both in real love.
