Should Men Be Allowed To Have A Right Over Their Unborn Babies?

He's in the US and she works in an oil coy in Angola but she recently got pregnant for him. Homeboy wasn't straight on when they are getting married and she first threatened to terminate the pregnancy, he thought she was joking because her mom in Naija told him she can't do it but she went ahead and terminated the pregnancy anyway. The guy told me last wk that she has no right to terminate HIS pregnancy and I was like : " The moment you shoot out the Fluid into a woman's body, you've forfeited your right to ownership of that Fluid until the next 9 months " and he told me that I was wrong . Homeboy is claiming that both of them has a 50-50 right over the unborn child according to Nigerian law and I told him that I haven't heard any law like that in Naija besides the baby was conceived in Angola, however, the only right he has over a pregnancy is supplying money to the expecting mother to take care of her needs, otherwise, kapus!!!.

Question: Should men be allowed to have a right over their unborn babies? Why? Do you think that some women are using that advantage over men to punish some men especially when the men are so attached to the pregnancy?

Yes Men should be allowed to have right over their unborn babies:

My reasons are:

1. I the man does not have sex with the woman she can get pregnant.

2. The man would be the one to take care of the baby when the baby is born .

I can't fartom the others when I do I'll post them ok.

It's only mama's boys that will not chicken out if needs be. Guys these days can perform wonders and can walk any minute even if it's during your honeymoon. I've not heard of families encouraging pregnancy before marriage especially in Nigeria because the other family can still reject an in law whether a party is pregnant or not.

I have no sympathy for such scenarios especially when it has to do with something out of wedlock. She laid her bed, let her lie on it.

Trust me, young girls still do. Have you heard some chics saying, " guys can lie but not my Kola"? That's why this media BS they tell women in America that they are smarter than men beats me because some women watch these talk shows, believe the BS, get a little careless with themselves because they wouldn't do proper homework after all Oprah told them that men are silly and they keep falling mugu for the "silly" gender. The greatest enemy young girls have today is the media that keeps over nflating their ego, some homes has been broken b/c the woman tries to relegate the man's opinion to the backseat, after all they are not as smart according to Oprah/Dr Phil/View etc. Identify this big lie first, tell women they are being hoodwinked by media moguls because they want their attention to score high in ratings so as to attract sponsors and their dollars. The only way to cut through it is by appeasing women, men hardly watch TV anyway except sports.

90% of single mothers did not become one by careful planning, in most cases, they became pregnant to appease a man, lure him into marriage, b/c he wants it so badly but has no money for the wedding now and the greatest of them all is because she's in loooooooooooooooVE.

@RedHot

i cant believe for one second

that your scenario exists or takes place this days!

Look at this scenario:

Yves: sweetheart, i think it's time to have a baby

Eve: Why don't we get married first?

Yves: We'll definitely do that but that wouldn't stop us from getting pregnant

Eve: okay

2 months later:

Eve: Honey, I'm pregnant

Yves: Thats such a good news

1 week after:

eve: why come home so late honey?

Yves: what are you insinuating? that I'm cheating?

eve: No, it's just that I need to know where you are.

Yves: what? Are you my mother? in fact, I'm done with you and all i want now is my baby. Give birth to my baby and send me the portion of my bills. To your tent o' Israel.

From the scenario above, what if Eve is not ready to be a single mother but has been hoodwinked into it, what do you expect her to do since she cannot even abort the baby(at least legally) because the man seriously want the child and has 50% equity shares on the pregnancy?

What "RIGHT" can any innocent man have over mischiefs of any woman. A woman may decide to get pregnant for a particular man without the knowledge of the man. A woman may decide to terminate a pregnancy without seeking advice or knowledgeable by anyone. A woman has the ultimate decisions to make when it comes to her body, no matter what some man says.

THERE ARE NO AMOUNT OF "RIGHTS" accorded a man with regards to pregnancy, a woman still holds the keys to any life on earth.

There are necessary measures a woman can take to avoid conceiving. If she can't take the brunt of being a single mother, she should please do us a favor by taking the pills or preferably tie her womb!!!!!!!!

Of course he has rights but not until the baby is born. if you think about it from the x and x/y chromosomes, he should have rights to his property but even if you make a law that will enable him have rights from conception, what will happen to women who doesnt want a pregnancy because of the changes it'll bring to their body or because they dont want to be single mothers? Don't you know that some guys may use pregnancy as a form of punishment on a woman? I'm prolife tho.

Last time i checked, both Man and Woman supplied the chromosomes to make a child.

X from the Mother

X or Y from the Father.

Of course He has Rights!!!

It takes the action of two to make the baby but it takes the decision of one to end it.

That's why you shouldn't be bitter when it is argued that men are, on average, physically stronger than women and consequently deserve peculiar jobs over women?

In which case she can still keep the baby at his expense. I have been taught to avoid unintentional reproduction and I would like to keep control of this aspect of my life as well.

If a woman Molests a man don't you think the man has a right to determine what becomes of his sperm?

I definitely respect all of these women and their rights to their domineering opinion on the subject of abortion, funny enough I still think the premise of their posts are filled with flaws.

me sentiments exactly

@rhc

canada ooo yankee ooo

if i can prove in court she said , she wasnt up for the baby and she went ahead to have it,

or that she eloquently told me whatever she does with the pregnancy is i right, shouldnt i be allowed to breath

choosing some is only as far as going halfway

the person also has to be willing

Damn sometimes I don't understand some women at all. If the dude had made the woman abort the baby, they'll be like "how can he kill his own unborn child?" Now here's a dude who's telling her not to abort and now the story changes to "he has no right over the unborn child." WOW

Since we all are for equality, I think both the man and women should have an equal right in determining the fate of the unborn child

Come to think of it, what has a woman's insensitivity gotta do with the fact that she's carrying a baby and should decide whether to have the baby or not? I'm pro life but I honestly do not wish men be allowed to make decisions over a woman's pregnancy because it's HER body and not the MAN"S body.

2ndly, whether you want to come back or not, as long as you are in the US or canada, they'll come and carry you from that hole you are hiding unless you run to Zungeru.

It's a moral issue to me.

Now to the question, it's very much unfair for a man to have no say on the fate of an unborn child. Why? He's a human being and he sure do have feelings.

very callous, inhumane, animalistic, wicked, shameful, murderous, devilish and satanic act.
