Sweetie, it is totally possible. Ok, since you have such an emphasis muscle mass. . .  Bill Pearl, Alexander Dargatz, Andreas Cahling, Carl Lewis, Christine Vardaros, Denise Nicole and many others are well know body builders and sports figures who are vegetarians/vegans. By the way, one of these athletes is involved in MMA. There are other ways to build muscles and obtain protein.

Honey, u work out, do u lift heavy-weights to increase muscle mass? You cant on a vegetarian diet! Impossible! That aside, I love my steak medium-rare. . . . .

lol, I work out as well and I'm an athlete and I'm fine. There are many athletes and body builders who are vegetarians. Oh well, vegetarianism isn't for everyone, so its no big deal.

I wouldn't mind dating a guy with locs. As a matter of fact, I've been foolin' around for some time now with a friend of mine. Every time I'm with him, I can't help but play around with his locs. He has these really beautiful brownish golden curly locs, I just love his hair so much. I can't keep my hands out of his hair when I'm with him. I love locs on a man regardless of their ethnicity.

I love my locs and have never had probs in the dating department. I don't get the 'dirty' part, locs, being natural are a wash and go affair. I'm not for fake weaves (most smell) and straightening my hair to look like,  I carry my natural mane with confidence and pride.

Am also in higher management in the corporate sector and my hair's never been a hindrance.

a carebean girl married a Ghanain freind some 10 years ago.  she had to cut the thing off because she knew the boys family  would never have allowed it.  she was supposed to grow it back after the marraige but she left it becaue it would affect the kids seeing the extended family.

the things are not cast in stones.

personally i wont date a lady with one. not even in my dreams

@mandora

Not everyone is under 'formal' employment many are self employed so all this talk about interviews is being myopic

IT for instance has nothing to do with your appearance its your skill

ADVERTISING is a lucrative industry too and most likely dreads would give the impression that you're creative

MEDIA in all its facets nko dreadlocks will not prevent you from being employed

TELECOMMUNICATIONS- i know at least two girls with dreads and they work in that corporate environment and they were INTERVIEWED

It's easy 2 say dat it doesn't matter but I wonder if such a person went 4 a serious job interview if he'll be refused on account of his locks. So it gets me believing dat society may not totally accept dis person as a responsible person and I wouldn'y like dat

Generally, naija babes don't do guys with dreads. It's the same old story - How can I present a man with dreads to my dad?

I've got shoulder length locs. They are clean, and I get them re-twisted every month. I also wash them every blessed day. Yet, a lot of my naija friends still call me immature for having locs.

Personally, I don't give a hoot what you look like or how you wear your hair. I'm strongly attracted to women with long flowing locs.

You mean the artificial dreads we carry about.

It's not going to be permanent so what's the stress?

I wonder o

Crying over my preference isnt going to change my mind, jammin, so carry on with the insults

I don't like that poo, whether "maintain" or what the hell ever on the guys I would date.

It's like when some guys like a girl with a bush and others before her to be completely smooth

It's all about preference, so people need to get the hell over it.

clean or whatever doesnt change the fact that I cant stand them.

I like guys clean shaven with low haircuts, the whole Medusa look on a guy isnt for me.

I'm an Igbo chick in NEw York with dreads that are just below shoulder length and very groomed. As soon as the dreads got nice and long, everybody started loving it. In fact my auntie came to visit from Abuja and went back with little tiny dreads.
