Would you date or marry a man who is a driver or security guard?
You are right.
There is the case of a pretty and comfortable babe with good salary who fell in love with a company driver who had to even live in her mini flat, but he cheated on her and when she challenged him, he beat her up too.
A driver or security guard with better plans for his life would end up better than an executive banker or programmer with nothing more to offer humanity than his seven-digit salary and taxes.
A serious taxi cab driver in Lagos makes more money monthly than many bank workers.
my dad's personal driver earns 60,000 p/m 5000 as transport every week, well i think in a whole is about 80plus p/m. while my younger brother who just graduated is working for 51,000 p/m in a bank,so bliv me Drivers got good future. take a good look at some of them,9ice shoes, good looking, sharp appearances.
ok , here the driver makes 140k monthly, how?
He drives a wagon (8 pessengers) to and fro - Abuja /Lokoja. Makes 4k for every trip, after fuelling and union dues(NURTW). Dats 8k per day
and wen u sum it up against 30 day dat makes 8X30=240K.
would u or wouldnt yu date him ?
people fall in love with the rich guys too, you know. plus, poor guys also cheat. it's even more painful when you stand by a poor guy and he cheats on you, than when the one you met rich cheats on you. it's not as if i'm looking for a rich guy to come and rescue me from a wretched and poor life. saying i can't marry a poor man doesn't mean i'm looking for a wealthy man, i just need someone who can [b]at least afford my lifestyle (which actually isn't expensive). my family would be disappointed if after doing their best to enable me make a substantial living independently from them, i end up with someone to whom my basic necessities are luxuries.
it would be childish to head into marriage without proper financial considerations, some people need a certain measure of financial stability to have a happy, working family. there's nothing wrong with that. some can raise kids on a salary of 50,000 naira, while others can't even survive alone on that amount. it's different strokes for different folks. we each have our expectations in life and there's no reason to choose between one's expectations and love, when one can have it both ways (at least to a certain degree).
to all the girls that won't even think of dating a poor guy/security guard/driver, there is nothing wrong with ur decision, for u the financial aspect is big for u but please stop calling it love, that is what makes me sick! and whenever the rich/"well to do" guy decides to step out on u and cheat dont cry boo hoo, for one u are after the money and u are getting it, so ur aim is not defected. to make noise later saying "how can he do this to me? after all i have done for him" is irritating to say the least and u need to shut up bcuz u didn't do anything for him than provide the $EX any other woman can ready provide and dont even get me started on emotional support please!
joke aside: whats wrong with these jobs? ok the guys might not find some heavily educated broad in 9ja but, for some gal that isnt highly educated herself(market sales woman etc), he would be the perfect match!
as i always say, as long as it isnt something illegal, i will welcome ANY guy my daughter wants to marry, as long as she is happy!
if after 20 odd yrs of brainwashing she decide to go for a security guard then so be it, she is the one who will live with him, not me.
Many immigrants including Nigerians that are in the US are doing the kind of jobs that is looked down on in Nigeria. Don't let the flash gift that they send over for christmas fool you. It the exchange rate that make many here seems like they are rich in the US. In the US, Nigeria is classify as a third world country and degrees that many nigerians bring over to the western world are not accepted unless you go school again in the US or any western world. Many Nigerians that come here don't have time to go to school again considering that they already have kids, so many settle for jobs like security guard even if they have three degrees in Nigeria. There is no excuse for 1st generation Nigerian in the us or a child that grew up in the US to be a security guard though.
Is this question to the ladies alone?
Well, if the man has prospects (i mean educated) and is just starting out with the present job to start life, why not. Some Security guards and drivers in Oil companies receive better pay when compared to Directors in the Civil Service. So, Security Guards and Drivers have category, and it depends on the category.
Secondly, man na man, whether Driver or Security Guard, those na titles wey money dey clear once woman notice am.
