What Do You Do With Your Old Phone?

Hi all,

In this modern day we live in, the mobile phone industry is a constant and rapidly growing electronic sector. Moreso with the ever increasing sources of tecchnology being generated, it creates the opportunity for mobile phones to have short life time and stylistic obsolescence.

Therefore I do like to ask, what do you with your old mobile phones when you want to upgrade to another latest version of Nokia, Sonyericcson, Samsung and the rest?

Thanks for the reply.

I always find it difficult to dispose phone because I always have huge infos in every phone I use and to be on a safe side I have to keep it. And besides I always make use of my phone whenever it is project related.

You can only use one phone at a time, even if you carried ten at the same time

Emission/Radiation does not occur until you start using the phone

Radiation from these phones are very small

Dont allow the scare mongers to frighten you

@ poster

Changing phones is like changing cars

1. New and better capabilities

2. Ego - "My phone is better than yours mentality"

3. The old one is un-usable

What do I do with the old ones?

They are archived

Mobile phones are health hazards?

This is a myth. Never proven

You are likely to have radiation problems with your microwave ovens, the sun and power transmission lines!

Anyway the new phones are more sensitive and transmit less power than the pre-2005 phones!

I am working on a project here with mobile phones. I have realized this device are electromagnetic devices that emit radiation. Dangerous to human health over time.

Therefore I do like to know what you do with your old mobile phones. What makes you want to buy a new phone?
