NATURAL WATER BODIES
The first one of them is Niger River. It is the third largest river of Africa. Its length is over 4000 km and it has one of the most unique river routes in the world. it starts near the ocean shore and goes inland, then it turns back and enters Atlantics.
The second largest river is Benué River, which is the Niger’s tributary. It stretches for over 1400 km. This river is passable for boats in the summer time and it has become one of the key transportation routes in the country.
