It is called the acorn. It is not a fruit, but rather is a nut. Most acorns contain just one tree seed in them. During the good times acorns served as food for pigs and goats, as well as other animals. But in the times of trouble and famine, they were used as food for humans and helped many nations to survive the tough times.
