About Obasanjo's Interview On Hardtalk In London: Does Nigerian System Work?

Friends, it was so disheartening watching our own Former President on Hard-talk displaying no leadership attitude, I wonder what Obama would have done! but the truth I found from the interviewer is that 'Our System Does Not Work'; and why because our Leaders won't make it work. Our former President highlighted a lot of anti-corruption bodies that his administartion did set up, but the fact remains did it work? No! Asked about the allegation against his daughter and there he sparkled again. This are hard-core truth that I guess we need to engage our leaders; but what happens when someone tries it? NTA guys are fired, AIT is closed, etc, so how can we ever get out of our mess if 'Our System doesn't work'. He said 'although we have oil, but we're too much of a population to enjoy it', comparing Nigeria with Saudi Arabia, what a shame!

If Nigeria is a failed state, so what was his business as President for 8 yrs? It's obvious our government won't want things to work, 'cause they know if it does our perception will change and will in turn change our political ideaology.

Nigerian system is made to bread low/poverty driven thinkers, that's why someone can prefer to take N100 or more to vote their conscience away to the devil; no deeper thought on how decisions made today affect their grand kids in future; and that's why you could apologise to a uniform man/woman that has gone beyond his/her constitutional limit towards you.

Finally, it can't in as much as we have few ones above the law, like Baba Iyabo himself, etc
