What I putting across is that in Naija, the weapon of mass destruction seems to be the pen rather that the guns and granite. Most "celebrated" financial crimes seems to emanate from co-operates office and govt offices; Check these list

Alamesieye (former Bayelsa gov) Balogun (former IGP) , Ibori, Dariye, Odili, do not forget what led to the collapse of Hallmark and society Generale Bank, Senator Evan Enwere, Okadigbo, Adolphus Nwagbara, Mrs Ette cases and most recently Igbenedion. Lest I forget the revelation of the House of molest "sorry Rep" power probe and car purchase scandel or the issue of furniture allowance, the list continue. What can we make out of all these. There seems to be more thiefry from co-operate "nigerian" than common roadside criminal. It is better Nigeria legalize stealing of public money?

Armed robbers wear expensive suits for bank operations, and they often appear at the invitation of bank officials who also dress in business suits and expect to share in the loot later, if they are not killed by the robbers when they rendezvous to collect their agreed cut of the loot as inside informants.

It is therefore difficult to separate the corporate pen robbers from the corporate machine-gun robbers, since they both work in tandem.  Generally speaking though, embezzlement costs Nigeria a lot more money and human lives than armed robbery. While bandits DIRECTLY take lives in often spectacular fashion,  embezzlers indirectly kill far greater numbers of the innocent by subtly destroying the economy and depriving the entire country of electricity, for example.

Armed robbers elsewhere may be a hard guy extorting money or properties forcefully.

In Nigeria, Armed robber is synonymous to President, Vice president, Ministers, Senators,Governor,

In summary, any political office holder.
