Do votes really count?

Or do we just bake in the Sun for the leaders and the powerfuls of the nation just sit somewhere and decide who "must" rule?

I believe that question is somewhat valid. Over and over we claim election results on rigging but going by the judgement displayed by many on here, I question that assertion myself. How can rigging be to blame when we seem to have a large group out here who stand up to defend the very people that year after year have stolen from these very people.

So this means the votes dont counts, cos i have heard so many cases where pple wont even show up and yet they count will be so much, or a case where the vote of one candidate will be more than even the population of the city.

i know that theres always rigging during elections in nigeria but can rigging really make the difference between who wins and who loses the election?
