How Did We?

How did Nigeria get to it's present deplorable state?

I grew up not really knowing much about what a generator look like.

Shopping at domino, leventis and kingsway stores was a regular thing for many familes.

I attended a public primary and secondary school and the teaching standard was compare to non then as private school were virtually non existing.

I remember these days when a year one University undergraduate could tutor an SSS3 pupil to pass his/her WAEC exam.

I remember growing up knowing that every grown-up in my compound was my father and mother because they do exactly what my parent would have done.

I remember these sweet great days and my dad use to tell me about even sweeter time gone past.

My question is what went wrong, how did we allow things to get this bad?how?

Can these good old days ever return?can we return Nigeria to his glorious past?
