How Nationalistic Were Our So Called Nationalist ?

This is a question that has been bothering me. I do believe that the problem of Nigeria (tribalism) began from the colonial and immediate post colonial era and the bad seeds sown by the Azikiwe's , Awolowo's and the Sardauna's is what is troubling Nigeria.

What do you think ?

If there is anyone sowing a very bad seed here, its you (note I will not insult you, ok). But this thread would have had a lot of substance if you started by telling us some of these "evil seeds".

You are not only insulting these great men who sacrificed a lot for this country - but you also spit at those of us who hold them at a very high esteem.

So you can start by - telling us "some evil seeds" they sowed or tender an apology for the insult you have directed towards these men.

They sure did, but some evil seeds were sown in the process and today we talk about a northern presido, a southern presido instead of a president who oversees Nigeria ,for Nigerians because he is a NIGERIAN

Azikiwe was a true nationalist you dunce.

Why do you think many Igbos do not care much for Azikiwe. He believed in One Naija even at the expense of his own people.

EzeUche,

Frankly, I do not know why some1 has to receive an insult for a simple question or for expressing an opinion. Is this how we are supposed to change the country? Is it out of frustration with the wrongs things we have suffered? Is it supposed to let the other person know how strongly you feel about an issue. Please, let us all try to behave with some decency so that we may show that we are different from those who brought us to the low level we are. Let us stop this naija cyber culture of having to insult one another over nothing,
