Nigeria At 50: What Should Be Our Theme?

Nigeria AT 50 yrs,

Alot has happen in this 50 yrs,

Alot of prophecy for this yr was all about:

CHANGE

POSSIBILITIES

OPPORTUNITIES

GREATNESS

And Most Especially

LOVE.

Last few years, Ghana celebrated theirs with the theme: Championing African Excellence

India's Theme: Free to live, to Exist, to Grow

What do you think Nigeria's Theme for our 50th independence anniversary should be?

Should be of hope and possibilities?

Should it be of new beginning?

should it be about believing in the past to move forward?

or should it be a total rebirth theme?

What THEME Suite Nigeria?

waste, gold made black, sufferin in the midst of plenty, corruption in high places, obscurity, gloom, wickedness, papa decieve pickin,, __>but I still see possibilities of change, we would still get there somehow, an emerging ideological and intellectual revolution would bring the desired change!

Nothing to celebrate. We should even use it as a day of reflection.

My only joy is that we survived the Yar'Aduas

I would say "Beauty in Diversity" but the country is too full of juvenile tribalists for such a [marginally] progressive idea to take hold.

Dont expect any theme other than that centered around unity.

besides,it will only be a theme of the day, nothing more, nothing less

after all, what happened to OBJ's -I see hope and the ones b4 and after it?

But it goes for the beauty of the country,

We like it or not we have to look at the future possibilities ( my own opinion)

Obasanjo believed in hope

Tinubu Imagined alot.
