During the last few weeks President Buhair and Nigerian army boasted in defeating Boko Haram insurgency in the country. However, people are worried over the latest buzz of terrorists who regain their position and recapture villages. Is that true?
Has Boko Haram taken back territories from Nigerian Army in the northeast?
Ogun State Governor Mr. Amosun stated that such information is just a rumor and it has nothing to do with the reality. Nigerian army retains the territories gotten from Boko Haram.
He praised much the work of military people and other security agencies and assured that they will continue to do the good work. The territories are maintained under their control and further clearing of the land from the radical sect would not stop in the nearest future.

Let us hope the insurgency would be done with in Nigeria and the future of the terrorised territories would be much brighter than it used to be in the past. This country needs to be healed and its people brought back form the IDP camps to normal and fulfilling life.
