I'm getting angry with those saying the president is alive! Why then he's not talking to Nigerians? This is contemptuous.

Brain-Damaged!!! Very soon, it will be heart-damaged.

It's pity that the federal government of Nigerian has refused to tell Nigerians were about of their president, WHAT A SHAME!!!, Who is fooling who?? this is among the things that made me say Nigeria is a Failed States, For example when ever president Obama is going on any vacation or holiday, the American people is always aware not to talk of when it has to do with his life, Nigeria has failed totally and we need to wipe out all the criminals we call leaders if Nigeria will ever move forward.

I heard it on BBC Network Africa this morning, the program is still running, you can tune and verify for yourself. this issue is too delicate for bbc to be playing propaganda with.

I am truly sorry. I was relying on the report on the BBC website, I just changed channels and heard the audio. Don't be annoyed.

How would you accuse someone of lying without verifying. Am not a politician, am lying down in my sitting room jejely and watching BBC here in the US and this audio pops up. My concern is that the guy sounds sick. I would not believe that the BBC is in any agenda at this stage. Maybe listen to Network Africa on radio now in Nigeria or tune in on BBC website to listen to that program live!

Lie!

I posted this topic exactly 17 minutes after the BBC published their story and there was no audio link anywhere Nigeria's Ailing President Yar'adua Breaks Silence.

Someone should please provide an audio link and not a news report . . .

This could just be the usual British + Northern Nigeria wayo . . . at work all over again . . .

Hence until i hear the so called audio report myself . . . i am not believing . . .it :

- Speaking with Yar Adua is an exclusive hence why would they not choose to publish an exclusive audio or has talking to him become a National Security concern all of a sudden.

THe link says he told the bbc . . . i am not taking bbc's word cus they themselves are masters of propaganda . . . i want to hear it myself and make a conclusion if its really Yar Adua.

Lets reemmber that it was the same British people the rig in the Northerners and intentionally handed over power to them in the first republic.

Obasanjo should be held responsible for the poor man's death. He enticed him with the offer and now the stress of office has killed the dude that fell for the juicy offer. So Obj should be babbed for man slaughter. Next time he wont try this type of poo with Nigerians

If Yar'Adua was dead, dont you think the international media (eg CNN, BBC, Aljazeera,SKY etc) would have reported it. Or are they part of the 'conspiracy theory'?

Ok here's the deal,  if this guy is alive let them show us a pic of him on freaking life support if thats the case!

Its like we are just in a runaway train without its engine, the news i am hearing states that the first lady decided to keep it on the low because of personal reasons, that simply ridiculous and callous! this is a freaking democratic government(is it?) and we have a right to information i think. Even the president's death. i dont see whats so special about it tht makes it an issue of national security. If not for greediness i dont see why the hausa dont wanna relinquish the bleeding seat of power. I dont see any name on it that says presidency is our bloody right, i wish for one an honest man would rule this country.

and those blasted idiots telling us lies, to our face, i have no comment for them but may the almighty God reward them accordingly! to be honest i am tired of politricks in this country.

if the country's healthcare was standard in the first place, there will be no need for us to start "rushing him to saudi arabia" its all a ploy to do something evil and mischievous.

Is he dead or not let someone who is honest tell us and to hell with this oath of secrecy stuff. Those who forged his signature for bugdet, God dey. all things done in secret will revealed nothiing is hidden under heaven and u must be out of ur bleeding minds to think that ur ploy to take power in ur hands will work!

i read similar news from Usa dailies THe WILL, that umaru yardua has lost his senses and also has stroke. what are they hidden there, the silly man that imposed him on the whole nigerians knew the man is not okay healthwise but because obasanjo wanted to achieved his selfish interest(3rd term Agenda) with the hope that the man we die during the 2007 campaign so that obj can continued for another 4years, but God is greater than him. my advice to the PDP led govt is to do the right thing by following what the constitution says in case president is incapacitated otherwise nigeria will witness another bloodshed. "before harm is before warn". enough of all dis rubbish

After all a bunch of thieves have been doing likewise and they got away with it. Why wont there successors follow the evil legacy they left? it has so far become a tradition nothing good works on in our land anymore. Imagine all these nonsense

Is amazing how the president and half his handlers that studied abroad think that the presidency is their birth right. Not one person in this group is thinking about the Nigerian people they are suppose to be serving. All they are thinking about is keeping power.

I am just trying to understand the thinking/mindset of African leaders. Are they too far gone to realize that a president cannot be absent for 45 days without giving an explanation to the country. Is just baffling, that they think this is OK.

kmt I KNEW IT!!!!! from the day he was 'rushed to soudi' i knew he was dead!!

greedy bastards!!

kmt that country makes me sick sometimes

only in nigeria can the president be absent for two months, only in nigeria

You fools! A sick president who has been gone for over fifty days, and by the way his fellow PDP northerners are handling the issue is more than clear to us all what the matter is, he has been dead for long. After all the man didnt travel to pluto to be in the ICU, why couldnt he just address us all these while or let us see a footage of him in the hospital bed if he were alive. Slowpokes!

It was Ray Ekpu who wrote Years back that;

'Nigerians {mostly the ruling class} have this uncanny ability to create problems where there is none, and the uncannier ability of compounding problems where they exist' italics mine

Why should a whole country be held to ransom because some leader is dead or not? Nobody is immune to death, not even leaders, so what is all this nauseating  game for? If he is gone, for God's sake, the public have a right to know the truth about those who elect to assume public offices.

When you see leaders in desperate games like this, the answer is not far fetched; they lack integrity, their hands are soiled and stink like rotten eggs. What happened to Abacha's family after his death is a scary prospect to all these thieves who masquerade as political leaders.

Shame on all our present crop of politicians, even kindergarten pupils have more sense than most of them. Times like these make me want to step out and burst ball!

YAR A'LIARS and his cronies will NOT stop lieing. The President of Nigeria must not only hold his citizen in contempt BUT the entire free world especially the Americans who have put Nigeria on Terror list.

So, he cannot make radio, telephone or tv broadcast to 'thank his people' or speak to our allies all over the worls to assure them that Nigerins are not a Terrorist breeding nation They all sound foolish and unprofessional including Adeniyi who should advise his dead boss to speak to the Nation.

Lie will go for a thousand years the truth will catch up in a twinkle of an eye. useless yeye people.

That TV station is government run, we need independent sources and proof of life otherwise dead and long gone. Why and what is he hidding that he cannot speak by himself or hold a press conference. In any event dead or alive he has no authority to lead this nation in my own opinion and books. To hell with PDP and their foolishisness

Incompetence and dereliction of duties is what it is called to be gone for 50days and not handover to your asistance to mind the store in your absence.
