What If Europe And America Make Their Countries Visa Free For Nigerians?

in almost every church service, most of the testimonies are on the miracle of visas to leave nigeria. this will always recieve a great shout of appreciation and admiration.

with this, i have been thinking what will happen here if europe and america says we(nigerians) will no longer need visas to visit or live in their countries.

my mind is saying nigeria will go empty within 48hrs with all departing flights fully booked with arrievals empty.

what do u think?

There will be a mass exodus from Nigeria true, but after a few years ppl will be returning in drones after the find out that America and Europe is not what the always thought it would be. America and Europe may be well advanced than we are but there is no were like home.

@chidichris

You continue to say you want to emigrate and this begs the question: why haven't you left? Was your visa refused? If you've applied many times for visa and they continuously refuse you, maybe its time you count your loses and move on. Other people still make it in Nigeria and you should concentrate this visa energy on making it in  Nigeria. You could spend the rest of your adult life queuing at the American embassy and still get jack. Think my friend, think.

You people think it is that easy to just fly abroad for average Nigerian?

How many Nigerians can even afford the plane ticket out of Naija?

There would be a mass exodus but guaranteed it would not reach over 20 million.

That means you would still have 120 million plus by all accounts.

Oya make we all begin go Europe go spoil am as we spoil naija.

Look at most places where there are large concentrations of Nigerians and you'll see that its not about anything but ourselves. We need to examine ourselves and realise the things we are doing wrong.

As someone said before, if Nigerians are moved to UK and Brits moved to Nigeria, Nigerians will start applying for visas to come to Nigeria within 10/15 years.

I am sure it will happen one day, but not in this our generation, when Nigeria become better and can rub shoulder with western world in terms of development, when no more corruption, when Nigeria will be at the discussing table of world affairs, when the americas and the european leaders will not be able to start a meeting till the head of state or president of Nigeria arrives.

Till all these happens, Nigerians will be treated as dogs at the embassy.

a mass movement out of Nigeria of course.

the real question is who will fill the spaces left behind by the fleeing naijas?

People from other countries- both African and non-African.

The leaders (any ones who remain) will heave sighs of relief at having finally been rid of these troublesome Nigerians.

if anyone is smart . . . the best thing to do would be to REMAIN in Nigeria! Imagine the millions you'd make from an almost empty oil industry.

A visit to local embassies says much - A very large percentage is looking for ways of getting the hell out of Nigeria. Nigeria will empty with immediate effect.

That will be good riddance to bad rubbish, but honestly speaking many people will stay back to take the abundant opportunities that will open up.

Europe and America will never make it visa free for Nigerians to be honest but if they do, Nigeria will grind to a halt!

Arrival of flights will not be totally empty but departure will be in droves

I must say though, there are peoples who dont give a flying fuc.k about going abroad

Younger people will tend to make a move real quick!
