when will nigeria learn not to depend on oil.

The answer lies in our hands and we I mean this younger generation, how? Majority of our undergraduates are either studying petroleum engineering and things related to only one natural resources, because society rule states that there's money in oil, so if you want Nigerians to stop looking at oil and start considering cash crops you probably have to influence society rule by enlightening people on the importance of other natural resources.

Once the oil market falls flat and not lucrative as ever, then Nigeria will learn not to depend on oil.

Only when we properly develop the agricultural sector and when educated youths stop seeing agriculture as job/work meant only for the locals.
