Just to offer some help

http://www.femifanikayode.org

Femi is currently a PDP aspirant for Osun Gubernatorial contest. In fact he his one of d main contestsnts threathning to decamp to ACN if PDP imposed dat illiterate prisoner-turned-lawmaker Omisore.

I also remember him for being very saucy, free with uncouthed choices of words and arrogant but he doesnt look like some1 wit his head buried in pots.

He is articulate, no doubt about that, afterall IBB is also intelligent but we all hate him.

This is one of his most recent interviews and if u are so desperate to tail him he is open on facebook.

@Jakumo,

Your argument that the man is doing is job does not hold water at all.

Do u remember that he was not the 1st public communication guy working for the OBJ Govt. There was Late Tunji Oseni and Chinkelu (just to mention two). The two managed their portifolio excellecently well that they left with their head high.

Being abusive is not presidential, u will agree with me. This is why I will keep refering to his past which is influencing his presence GANGAN.

Onanugaola we have cut through the meat and are now reaching your real bone of contention regarding Femi Fani Kayode, and this evidently relates to your claim that he spoke disrespectfully to some un-named "elders" by disagreeing with those "elders" on a matter of government policy, presumably.

Setting aside for now the question of what Femi Fani-Kayode does for off-duty recreation, I counter your accusation of disrespect by reminding you that ignorant fools exist in all age groups, and thus NO age-group can lay claim to a monopoly of wisdom or even common sense,  therefore if some so-called "elder" says something that is patently false or silly with respect to the government that Fani-Kayode serves as press secretary, then a contradictory response should be expected as per the press secretary's job description.

Without detailed specifics of the alleged disrespect to which you refer, it would be presumptious of anyone to ascribe Fani Kayode's jousting with government critics as being indicative of a substance-addled mind, as you infer.  The man is simply doing his job as the point-man for the Obasanjo-led government  public relations department, for better or worse.

All what I said is that "Femi" was a drug addict. He has being rehabilitated in Ghana/South Africa.

I do not know whether u a Yoruba Man: "Koni tan lara were koma ku gangan"

that is a mad can not be fully cure of his madness.

He can always voice his support for OBJ  Govt. policies but not to the extent of abusing elders with opposing views. This what I called "GANGAN"

Onanugaola your assertion that Femi Fani Kayode is "addicted" to unspecified drugs does not square with the fact that he happens to be one of the most articulate, insightful and persuasive Nigerian speakers of the English language that has occupied public office for many decades. If the guy relaxes at home with a joint and a glass of Chablis, I hardly think that qualifies him as a "drug addict". Bill Clinton was agruably one of America's most beloved presidents, yet he admitted to having smoked the occasional funny cigarette in his past, and later topped that schocker with his confessions of being munched on by the amply proportioned Monica Lewinsky within the White House premises.

In summary, public officers in any government needn't be faultless angels to effectively carry out their jobs, and Fani Kayode is no exception, even if one disagrees with the government policies that he is tasked to sell to the press.

His future??

U can determine that by his abusive character and mannerless disposition to any issue involving General OBJ Govt.

He has abused everybody that differs from the thinking of OBJ Govt.: Afenifere, Arewa, OPC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Atiku, Ohaneze, Buhari, Gowon just them  e.t.c.

He even wrote a stinger to OBJ before he was invited to come and chop in Aso Rock.

Kole re ile de si oooo.

He can never for home among we, his kinsman.

Whats with the long analysis by la-yanju?

the poster simply gave a brief summary of the person in question, think you making a mountain off a mole hill here .Its his post not your don't you think you should repsect that? I don't know the person in question, but the poster has given us a lil bit of information. yes its wrong to judge , but leave the topic in context and stop over analysising it.

And yes even here in the Uk when they some times refer to politicians or public figures they do dig up their past. for instance, Lord archer who was sent to jail for perjury , when he is being referred to they say'' the disgraced lord, jailed for perjury'' of course the man is reformed but, thats just the way things go.

You are right on one score though, which is we all judge- period

Its not hearsay. The guy is an ex drug addict. He himself have said more on the topic. He is just an Ashewo that went to husband house sooner than later she will come back to her trade. Yeye person all because of almighty Naira and Dollar he starts speaking from both side of mouth.

He has even denouce that he is from Ile Ife where is father comes from. He now says he is from Lagos. What does Bode George think about that?

I have not called him any name he is not. I made bold to say he is an ex-drug addict. He walks all the way from Apapa to Ikoyi while still on drug. This is a statement of fact, it has being published in the Papers and he has never denied it. That is why his ambition, even with the support his father (FANI POWER) of becoming Osun GUV. candidate of NRC (Babagida Era) failed.

Well, someone told me "Femi" is in admission in undisclosed hospital in Abuja for Verbal Diarrhoea.

If I understand correctly, Femi Fani-Kayode is the public face of the administration. It can also be called the Press secretary, but I am not sure if that term is in use in Nigeria. Basically, it is his job to sell the Governments policies to the media. If you are expecting the Press secretary some how stand up and oppose the stance of a President, well, it's never going to happen.

Once OBJ comes up with a new agenda, Femi Fani-Kayode would be seen promoting it on the news e.t.c.
