Atiku = 4 votes so far. Even less than Okotie. And this is the thief that claims he speaks for Nigerians.

I dont know why Nigerians are such bad losers. That PDP's Yar'Adua won doesn't necessarily mean that the election was rigged. Lets say, for instance, this thread is a ballot box. count the votes in here and you will know who the true winner is. At least, our votes on this thread cannot be rigged.

I didn't vote but if i had voted it would have been in favour of Umaru Musa yar'Adua. infact in my house of eight, Yar'Adua got six votes. I still find it hard to believe that peole actually voted for the likes of Buhari, the known tyrant and Atiku, the self acclaimed theif!

I used to wonder why suiside bombers do what they do. But believe me, if Abubakar Atiku had won the presidential election, I would have had no choice but to be a suicide bomber!!!

nonsense. there is no such thing as a wasted vote except if you refuse to vote. voting should be about your conscience. I hope you wont complain when the country takes another turn for the worse.

I have said it several times that we are our own worst enemies, yet we keep blaming 'leaders'.

Yar'Adua declared Nigeria ''winner'' (note winner in quote)

BBC breaking news graphic

Ruling party candidate Umaru Yar'Adua has won Nigeria's presidential poll, the election commission says.

There was tight security at the election offices in the capital as the result of the much-criticised poll was announced.

At least 200 people died during the past week and the polls were "not credible" say European Union observers.

The two main opposition candidates have told their supporters to reject the results and want a re-run.

But looking at it from a true perpective Yaradua knows the government better than any other candidate on the grounds of continuity.

I voted at all levels for FRESH DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

Except the senatorial in Lagos where Lagos West electoral materials were unavailable.

This election result so far has shown a bit of credibility, I think we should start looking at the way forward and let trouble mongers stop calling for a rerun. Hosnestly even if the presidency should be hand picked I would say Buhari and Atiku had had there time, we have seen what they are capable of in the coridors of power and also in power. Why don't they give new comers a chance.

I know anyone without ulterior motives will not get my views wrong, all am saying is, let change continue for that is the only constant thing, and lets hope it will lead us to a better future, but to go back to what we've tasted which did not produce any good result initially, is simply another waste of precious 4 year term.
