President of Nigeria has some news! Muhammadu Buhari has new special advisers. There are four political and economical advisers and also permanent secretary who were hired by the president.

There was a special short ceremony of inauguration before the meeting of the Federal Executive Council started. Here is a list of those who were elected as the president’s advisers:

Special Adviser on Social Investment, Mrs. Maryam Uwais;

Special Adviser on Political Matter, Senator Babafemi Ojudu;

 Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu;

Special Adviser on Planning, Tijani Abdullahi;

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Rafiu Enikanolaye.

Who attended the ceremony?

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo,

 Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Babachir Lawal;

Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita;

There were a lot of official representatives who attended this inauguration. Secretaries and presidential aides were among them.

Moreover, some of the family members of the new-elected advisers also came to see the ceremony. 15 of those advisers were already chosen in 2015 by the Nigerian president.

However, their inauguration took place only now. It was a great solemn event that was really important for the new presidential advisers.

Some facts about Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu

Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu attended several universities. At first he attended some African institutions after which he was transferred to Cambridge and then to Oxford. The last university he went to was Obafemi Awolowo University.

He is diplomat. He served in the Nigerian Foreign Service which led to the invitation to join the United Nations 11 years ago.

Right now he occupies the position of Director of the Capacity Development Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.

Dr. Adeyemi Dipeolu also took part in several of the most important diplomatic missions.

Senator Babafemi Ojudu

Babafemi Ojudu works as a journalists but his second position is a lawmaker. He was born in Ekiti state. He is 55 years old and he is one of those who got accepted to the Buhari’s “crew”.

He will be the political adviser and he seems to be very proud to hold this position. But what is so special about him? Why did president decide to make him his special adviser?

There are a lot of important details in his biography that can explain us his decision. People in Nigeria certainly need to know why Babafemi Ojudu is the best person to help the president make decisions on political matters.

Muhammadu Buhari has new special advisers

First of all, Babafemi Ojudu is very educated – he attended one of the best universities in Africa. He keeps on showing how educated and literate he is.

In 1976 this new political adviser actually won a scholarship that was very hard to get. It was sponsored by Gani Fawehinmi. It means that he really is exceptional leader who can achieve all his goals.

At first he decided to study English but after he graduated he thought it was not enough. Therefore, he went to another institution, University of Lagos, where he studied political science.

At first he worked for Concord magazine as a journalist. He wanted to write for African people. However, his career as a journalist ended in 2010. He decided to go for politics to make his country a better place to live.

All in all, those are some interesting facts that every Nigerian needs to know about Babafemi Ojudu. Hopefully, all the economical and political advisers will perform their jobs in a good way and everyone will be content.
