This victory is tantamount to a licence for looting issued by the judiciary to Alao Akala. Oyo State should just be prepared to write off the four years of Akala as it is clear that nothing would come out of his tenure. They should also be prepared to stop him from returning in 2011 because he would have amassed enough dough to fight the fight.

How is this Akala guy doing it? When you think the table would turn against him, he somehow manages to resurface. Not my kind of person though.

Akala retained his seat. All the points brought forward in the Appeal were dismissed.

NTA Network broadcasted the proceedings live.

Are we sure Ajimobi is better?

Or we just need a new governor

As the Lord lives and as His spirit lives, Alakalakala will be shown the way out of the Government House today. Oyo State has been cursed with incompetent and outrightly base rulers for waay too long.

Ajimobi will be sworn in tomorrow morning as the Governor of Oyo State in a unanimous judgement that will be delivered this afternoon, the appeal court judges nullified the entire elections in the 4 local govts from Ogbomoso district, added the remaining 29 local govts and Ajimobi had 59% as opposed to Akala's 41% do not ask me where i got my information from because i wont tell anyway but i can say my source is 100% correct.
