Did Jesus Or His Companions Celebrate Christmas?

If Jesus meant his followers to celebrate Christmas, he would have practiced it himself and enjoined it on his followers. There is no mention in the entire Bible that any of his followers ever celebrated Jesus' birthday like Christians do today.

"The church did not observe a festival for the celebration of the event of Christmas until the 4th century" (Grolier's Encyclopedia)

Thus we see that neither the Bible nor Jesus and his companions say anything about the celebration of Christmas which currently involves fanfare, commercialization, and extravagent spending, devoid of any spiritual relevance.

We'll now analyze the real person of Jesus (peace be upon him), in the light of the Bible

You right Christmas actually dates back to an ancient Roman celebration of the sun-god, I did the research. So I guess celebrating Christmas would be like eating perfectly good food out of a trash can. It mixing something that holy with something unclean. Something to think about.

U're an ignoramus; seek knowledge first before writing. Chrismas day dates back to the greek gods' celebration.

There was a celebration in heaven on the day He was born and I don't think birthday celebration was on His mind coz He had work to do and He wasn't staying for long, there were more important things to do with His time. But christians celebrating christmas is a kind of appreciation day,if you will. And that's why it doesn't matter what exct day He was born.We celebrate the life He has given us ,is all.

LMAO.

Jesus didn't celebrate Christmas? What a foolish question.

Do you think he never had a Birthday whilst he was "alive"?
