Does God Still Speak Through Anyone…other Than Christians?

In the Old Testament, it was recorded that God spoke through a donkey. God also spoke through others who were not prophets? In fact, Abraham was not a Jehovah worshipper when God first spoke to him.

I posed this thread because as many people will tell you, long before they became believers, they had already noticed they had certain gifts, like visions, dreams, and prophecy.

If this is true, then it means that perhaps God does speak through anyone he chooses.

@Dafidixone,

It is true that God caused the donkey to speak, rather than speaking His word through the donkey.

Now, if you saw a goat speaking today, would you contemplate accepting that it was of God?

I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING YOU MUST UNDERSTAND HERE FIRST.

God made Donkey to speak not that He spoke through the donkey. Please read the Story of Ballam very well.

There is a clear difference between God speaking through and God making to speak.

God can make anything to speak but He only speak through His chosen.

On the example of Abraham, God called him out of his father land.

In our times, we are told to ‘test the spirit’, meaning that if someone came to give you a prophesy, and you knew the person was not a believer, then you are not to accept that prophesy.

I am certain that if a donkey spoke to anyone of us today, we would be busy binding and casting the demon out of the poor animal….

So, does God still speak His word through Gypsies, Psychics, Donkeys, babalawos, ‘prophets’ etc …please discuss
