Chiori,

Use your own eye and mind and stop relying on deceitful pastors to explain things that are obvious.

In one place it said satan told David to number Israel in another it say's the Lord. Even the bible writter are confuse.

Who told David to go number Israel? Was it SATAN or was it the LORD? Maybe you are more intelligent.

Read the passages outlined above and tell us what you think? Is the Lord of the Bible satan?

bros, you need some level of astuteness to be able to follow the bible, and such wisdom is so high that even esoteric professionals are befuddled by it, much less you posing such a question, the Lord or satan

Who told David to go number Israel? Was it SATAN or was it the LORD?

In 2 Samuel 24: 1

""And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.""

And the same story in 1 Chronicles 21: 1 say that and I quote "1: And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel."

Why is the lord and satan the same here?

Give the white man back his lying religion? He has taken everything you have, all you have left is your soul. Don't let him have that as well.

What will it profit you if you gain the world and lose your soul?

The white man wants to be like you, he mimicks everything you do, even trys to sing like you.

He Trys to get a tan, lips and other body parts (silicon and saline) to look like you. He has control of your land, the finances of your countries, he has your women stripping to swing bars, got young kids hating each other, so they don't care if they shoot (kill) each other.

While he is trying to have everything you got, you people are trying so hard to be like him, you want to worship your God (the white man image / image of the beast) so much you are ready to become slaves.

When are you going to realize (real-eyes) whose words the bible really is?

When are you going to realize you the pale man is the snake (serpent) refered too in Genesis 3: 1 " 1: Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made."

That's how the white man operates subtil , you see how they went into iraq looking for WMD. It was all a lie.

See how they gave africans the bible and today still have control of their land. Why is the queen the head of the commonwealth? And commonwealth for who?

You will still need a visa to travel in England or USA, so commonwealth for who?

If the queen is the head of the commonwealth that means the queen is still the true and real head of state of Nigeria.

That's why they gave us religion, to endorse you all under the evil hyponotic spell (believe) of ignorance.

Now who told David to go number Israel? Was it SATAN or was it the LORD?

Pilgrim.1, abeg no vex o! But, do you mean posting a copy of the book of personal opinion for you to read? Sorry to disapoint you sha. My opinion on the said topic, was not from any book, but simply my own view. Which was exactly why i didnt quote one.

emmm, Chiori ,

Which God are you refering too, because there are many Gods, you have the God of the Romans and Greeks (Jupiter and Zeus = J/Zeus), God of the Hindu (Braham = Abraham), God of the Mongoloids (Buddha), God of the East Indian Caucasoids (Kris-hna = Kris-tos = Christ).

Even the bible writers are confused about who this GOD of the BIBLE is. In 2 Samuel 24: 1 they say and I quote

" 1: And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah."

Then later on in 1 Chronicles 21: 1 you will find that the same story is being told again, however, this time it is SATAN telling DAVID to go number Israel, and I quote "1: And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel."

Here's something to think about, it one place it say the Lord told David to go Number Israel, and then in another version of the same event SATAN told David to go number Israel.

Now who told David to go number Israel SATAN or the LORD?

If the Bible is the word of God then that God is SATAN, and that makes it the book of Satan, for Satan, by Satan and will work best for Satan.

Why did it say "Lord" in one place and "Satan" in another place, where references are made to the same story?

Are the bible writer's confused who this Lord is?

Is this an error in print or a subtly hidden clue that the Lord of the Bible is Satan? emmmh. I didn't write the bible.

Don't beieve me, check it out for yourself.

Do your own research, keep searching and you will find the truth.

The bible is God's word without controversy. No reason has to be adduced. Period! Whether or not you like it, religion is a question of dogma. Call me whatever you want, no man can ever understand the 'why' of faith in God.

I personally think the bible is not and should not be called The Word of The Living Almighty God. Because it is simply a collection of books that was approved by a group of men and later put together to be called the bible. They probably disputed amongst themselves regarding which books should or should not be included to what is now called the bible. The True Word of God, will never be lacking in strict logic and observable testimonies from all He created. And hence, It would never require blind faith, to make up for all the unpardonable gaps and its logical inconsistencies.

How can one have faith in a book that can only be defended by quotations from the same book?  I will understand if they say it assist them in the teaching of their faith, and for them to learn certain lessons from ages past. It is however, a great error to call the bible The Word Of The Great Almighty God, based on the history of the development of the bible we now have today.

Genesis 2:2 says that God “rested” meaning that he actually ceased, desisted or stopped doing his job. . . . If this is true this would make the God of the Bible in need of a refreshment which means he could be fatigued or weakened.

According to Isaiah 40:28 of the Old Testament, the God of the bible does not get tired:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

The key word in this quote is “fainteth” which in Aramic (Hebrew) is ya'aph meaning “to be/grow weary, to fatigue, to be faint.” It says that God “fainteth not.” Which one is it?

Later on in Jeremiah 15:6 the same Aramic word ya'aph is used for fainteth and it says that God does get tired:

Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.

. . . In one instance God is tired and in another he isn’t. Which one is it? . . . You must understand that you can’t begin to define “God” as you know him because he is “The All.”

The bible is the word of some men who want to be god.

The bible isn't EONS old for one lmfao, two there hasn't been any evidence for a god of any kind let alone the Christian God and the bible has like at least 20 different versions maybe more of the bible and bit and pieces are put in and taken out in each one or re-written a different way and it was written originally by human men and it's humans who continue to remove, add in and re-write.

This is a problematic question. Foremost because we can't apply the concepts of statistical analysis to the problem and solve it as we can with most other mysteries.

Believing that the Bible is the "word of god" mandates certain other things:

1. First, it requires that we accept the existence of God as a divine, governing being.

2. Secondly, we must determine if we accept the concepts written in the Bible as the concepts of the God we happen to believe in.

3. Thirdly, we must determine if we believe the entire Bible or simply a portion of it. A failure in any of these three areas causes the Bible to loose its status as the "divine" word of God.

@Kuns,

All I asked for was just one line of reference - which you haven't produced.

The caucasians don't fear Awo, Shango or any of the others you mentioned.

Big up babs787, I see you.

Falsehood must surely perish, for the truth has come.

Hey pilgrim.1,

Have you checked up the knights of Columbus, This is the freemason society of the Roman Catholic Church.

What do they know that the ordinary church members like you don't know? emmm

What do you know about Jewish KABALA, this is the mother of the three Monothetic religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Jewish KABALA is what gave you these three religions mentioned above. It's members consist of a Ancient Mystical Order.

It's deep, some of these things cannot be expressed here online ,  it is best done with a book or through face to face interaction.

KABALA = Calabash (Awo, Odu ifa)

The Hyksos (Greek) learnt the mystism of ancient Tamare/African when they lived amongst us ,  they went back to Greece and created KABALA.

Re-ligion was used has a weapon to brain dirty the people ,  and disconnect them from the path and power of their ancestors. Now, go do some research (search again).

Why do you think the cauasain fears ogun Awo and Shango, bambi omo arigba ota segun?

Don't you do any reseach for yourself, what you are waiting for me to come and spoon feed you.

You have to grow up, man.

I am not trying to convince you, as a matter of fact don't believe me, check these things out for yourself.

Do some research of your own?

Go read a book or something ,  how many black authors can you name? Or is it just the bible (buybill) you read?

Or do you only read religion gospel (ghost-spell) books?

No wonder you have a problem with mental liberation information.

Have you checked up Josephus Flavius Piso (the true writer of the new testament) yet?

all this hang up on Jesus' complexion is just silly, I don't countenance any images/pictures of Jesus Christ, it is a complete non-issue as regards my faith. white black, yellow, green, purple, red, pink or whatever is immaterial.

I think you should wake up and stop making erroneous claims

The Old testament is the words of a group of men who belong to an Ancient mystical society, called the Order of Columbus. Which is the freemason society of the Roman Catholic Church.

The New testimony is the work from a play performed by Josephus Flavius Piso, his friends and family members. This play were complied by Constantine into Christianity to unify the many gnostic paganistic way of life that was prevalent in Europe during its conquest by Rome.

The Religion of Christianity was the offical religion of Rome, it was mainly for the illiterate "gnostic" European populace.

Today this is mainly the religion of many African Countries, who were con - Verted by the oppressor and enslavers. You can see the word Con, because that is exactly what they did, they conned the Africans into believing the bible was the words of God and not the word of man.

It was said by Reverend Desmond Tutu, that when the Europeans told the Africans to close their eyes and pray, when the Africans opened their eyes, the land and it's resources belonged to the europeans and the Buybill (Bible - so called word of God) belonged to the Africans.

At the end of the day, we are going to the year 2008, and your Jesus the SUN of God has not yet come back

While religious priest are still Molesting and molesting Children (boys and girl) daily,

and Africa is still at the bottom of the pile when it comes to world affairs.

so I have not time to SUGAR-COAT the facts, like many of these so-called believers.

The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the only source of knowledge of the Almighty God to all mankind. It is the contact point between finite man with the Infinite God; and it’s prime purpose is to give mankind the revelation of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17). The Bible is severally referred to as the Holy Scriptures (Roman 1:2; 2 Timothy 3:15), the oracles of God (Romans 3:2; Hebrews 5:12), the Book of the Lord (Isaiah 34:16), The Word of God (Mark 7:13), the Word of Christ (Colossians 3:16) and the Word of Life (Philippians 2:16). It is in two major parts: the Old and the New Testaments. It consists of 66 books; 39 of which are in the Old Testament, 27 in the New Testament. The Bible was originally written predominantly in Hebrew and Greek. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, while the New Testament was written in Greek language. Over 40 authors drawn from disparate generations spanning a period of over 1800 years, were used by God to write the Bible. Even though their occupations, education and social classes were divergent, their theme was the same as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:20,21). The inspiration of the authors can be attested to by some peculiar characteristics of the Bible, which are not found in any other book written by man. Such characteristics include its wonderful unity despite the fact that the authors lived at different ages; the needs of all people irrespective of race and language; its superiority to other books; the influence on individuals and nations; its preservation over the centuries; its fulfilled prophesies (Isaiah 7:14; Ezekiel 36:19; 2 Chronicles 7:19,20) and its perfection (Psalms 19:7; James 1:25).

The Pre-eminence of the Bible (Isaiah 8:20; Psalms 119:89) makes it indispensable to all men today. While other books have limited influence on man, because they are products of finite minds, the Bible which is God’s revelation to man has solution to every problem today. Therefore, no man’s education is complete if he is ignorant of the provisions of the Bible. No Christian can live successfully without an adequate grasp of the Bible, and no Christian minister is really qualified for the ministry of the Church of Christ without a thorough knowledge of the Bible (2 Timothy 2:15). Without a ready knowledge of the Bible, the Christian worker cannot be effective.

The central theme of the Bible is CHRIST and HIS WORK OF REDEMPTION (John 20:31; Luke 24:25-27; Revelation 1:1). He is the Old Testament concealed, and He is the New Testament revealed. To fully understand the Bible and to rightly interpret its messages, we must first receive Jesus Christ as Saviour and have a clear and definite experience of conversion. Those who do not know Christ and those who have wrong conceptions about Christ cannot interprete the Bible appropriately because the carnal man cannot understand the things of the spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14).

The Bible has a Ministry to unbelievers as well as to believers . To unbelievers, the Bible brings conviction for sin which leads to repentance and faith in Christ Jesus. To believers the goals of the Bible are various: It is to make believers perfect (Psalm 119:9,11), to reveal the condition of their hearts (Hebrew 4:12; Jeremiah 17:9,10), it is a light to the believers feet (Psalms 119:105, 130), the food of the soul (Deuteronomy 8:3, John 21:17; Psalm 19:10; Matthew 4:4), a medicine to the body and soul (Proverb 4:20-22;Matthew 8:8; Ps 107:20);  and the sword of the spirit (Ephesians 6:17; Matthew 4:1-11). It is a mirror to reflect (James 1:23); a hammer to convict, and fire to refine (Jeremiah 23:29); seed to multiply (I Peter 1:23); believer to cleanse (Ephesians 5:26; John 15:3); rain and snow to refresh (Isaiah 55:10); gold to enrich (Psalm 19:7-10); and power to create life and faith (I Peter 1:23; Romans 10:17).

The Bible is God’s inspired revelation of the origin and destiny of all things. It is the power of God unto eternal salvation and it is the source of present help for body, soul and spirit (Romans 1:16; John 15:7). It is God’s will and testament to man in all ages, revealing the plan of God for man here and now and in the next life. It is the record of God’s dealing with men, past, present and future. It contains God’s message of eternal salvation to all who believe in Christ and of eternal damnation to those who rebel against the gospel (John 3:18,36).

The purpose of the Bible then is to reveal God to man, reveal man’s need of God and show man the way to God.  Man by searching cannot find God except God makes Himself known to him (Job 11:7). The Bible also reveals to man how to live, and through the fulfillment of its prophecies, all human needs are met. We receive salvation, sanctification, Holy Ghost baptism, healing, deliverance, protection, etc.

For us to profit maximally from the study of the Bible, all hindrances to spiritual receptivity must be removed. These include hardened heart (Matthew 13:3-6, 18-21), double mindedness (James 1:8; Mark 4:15-17), pride (Deuteronomy 8:11-14; Psalms 101:5; Proverbs 18:12), carnality (I Corinthians 3:1-5), and unbelief (Matthew 13:58).

Every believer in the church today can benefit from the hidden treasures in the Bible. But this would require sacrifices on our part. Treasures are not found except by searching or digging earnestly. Likewise, deep Bible truths need be sought for and in doing this we will discover Christ the more (Colossians 2:3; John 5:39). Certain spiritual preparations are required from believers in order to discover these treasures that would make them develop into the fullness of the stature of Christ. There must be earnest love for truth for its own sake (Psalm 119:40,47,54,72,103); supreme love for God (Matthew 22:37; Deuteronomy 30:6; Psalm 73:25); and an intense desire to know more of Him (Psalm 42:1,2; 63:1). Also, there should be a strong desire to make Him known to others (Proverbs 11:24-26; Romans 9:1-3), willingness to make personal sacrifice to study (Matthew 13:44-46; 12:42), a sense of ignorance and dependence upon divine teaching and willingness to practice as far as you learn (Psalm 119:60,101,106; James 1:22-25; Ezra 7:10). Other requirements are a fixed purpose to know, and do the whole truth (Psalm 119:63; 57:7; 108:1) and cultivating a state of mind that will not be diverted to make provision for the flesh (Romans 13:14; Matthew 26:41).

Above all, you need, a regular habit of prayer, resignation to the whole will of God and His word that will make you discover the treasures hidden in the Bible.

This is a more detailed explanation of the Holy Bible and how you can benefit from it.  I hope this will answer a lot of sincere enquiring minds.

@doyenn,

Are you in for a discussion or rather to disparage the Bible? You should simply ask yourself this question:

What book have the jihadist terrorists been reading that is still wrecking havoc to the lives

of untold hundreds of thousands - is it the Bible or the Qur'an?

Please try not stating what you can't defend; and when you look closely back home to Islam, you will find that the real havoc comes from your camp.

If it is what they call bible by their language then it is but what i know is today's bible is not the same tha was used by Jesus because we've seen so many changes and version and I dont think the word of god is suppose to be updated or manipulated in any way.

Bible of nowadays has ccaused so many havoc to the masses.

I hope we all realize that the bible is the word of men , who want to claim to be God.

If the Bible is the word of God then is God Confused because here in 1 Chronicles 21 : 1 it says and I quote "

1: And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. "

In 2 Samuel 24 :1, it says and I quote " And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah."

Who was actually talking to David , God or Satan.

Maybe the Lord told David to go number Israel and Satan just helped David by confirming (Yeah, go number Israel) it for him.

Or is the Lord and Satan one and the same being?

Are the bible writers confused or something ,

It is obvious the new testament is the works of Josephus Flavius Piso

I want to know if you can mention just one book that you know that have gone through so many persecution and still survived. The Bible contain prophesy that came to past many years later and so many other things.

@Babyosisi: In respose to your entries above, I will like that you expanciate on Melchezdekeh, the King of salem, who even prayed for Abraham. ( My disclaimer is that I believe the persnalities in the Qur'an over a similarly named that can be found in the Bible. This is my right and I am sticking to it).

Is Elijah the paternal father of Elisha, because he called him father> Or is it that they have master/student relation and it is the proper term to be use for one superior in the Semitic societies.

You wrote that Jesus was 100% man and at the same exact time, he is also 100% God! yet you separated him from God, being two different and distinct entities when you spoke about God's prediction of him. How is all of this possible, within ration concept, when we all agree that God is capable of doing all things, but there are somethings that He, God will not do.

Can you and me agree that the 12 companions of Jesus (12 Apostles), must and should be able to tell the complete dealing of Jesus, more accurately than later generation of storytellers? The companions being eyewitnesses, while the later generations, will be hearsayers. Which group is higher in simply telling accurate story, if they are both sincere, and not eliminating or adding anything to the story. In our todays condition, it is as if One group is to Audio/video and the other was simply told without the audio/video recording and maybe, even not the one who made the recording.

With this in mind, please tell me, are there anysingle desention among the remaining 11 companion after jesus was lifted to heaven and Judas had died? If there is any, please tell us who desented and who did any desented against. Are they from the eyewitness group or they desented even in least against any one who came in the later generations, even from the immediate generation, eg Saul/Paul.

Now, tell me when these prophesies were coming to the Prophets who received them, were they written down there and them, while the prophets were still alive to confirm that they were exactly as it came from GOD? In your Bible that you have today, we all agree that they are from the Roman, Greek, (earliest manustripts; I have my opinion, but lets leave it alone), what happened to the Bible being exactly as the prophets received it from their God, the Almighty? None of the prophets was aGreek/Roman and no revelation came to them in these two languages! So will you now tell me that the Bible is accurate in letter by letter, word by word, sentence by sentence and complete message, as the original piece meal by pice meal as it was the way it was revealed to the prophets, since they did not live all at the same time?

You can not argue that the Bible is accurate as if it was just revealed to those noble prophets. Never mind the language that it is translated into, eg, Igbo, etc, etc. If this is impossible for you to prove, then how are you sure of anything except that you must have a frame of reference on a particular topic it contains. For example, the Bible itself escoriate the learned of of the Jews corrupting the Law and the Books.

Here, what you then have is uncertainty! Thank God, Allah the Almighty sent the Qur'an to Muhammad (The Unlettered Prophet (AS)), to confirm and offers correction, a way that is straight, lacking Crookedness.

Am Sure that You are going to bite your tongue if that is even possible. However, I am certain the men of galance we bring their Tomahawk, instead looking at things critically and try to answer the questions and probably have a sincere object at this.

By the way, which is first; God the Almighty or Jesus, since you have indicated that they are separate and apart from each other. When jesus was on earth was their God still in heaven, which Jesus refered to in his 'Lord's prayer'. I wuld have expected that the lord's prayer should hav started with Our Lord and no our father! You want to make prayer to your father, then say so from the jump start! Sincerity should be expressed in all action. Intention should be clear. Any who prays to his/her father is worshipping him. Why not the mother who labored and cared more for the child than the father> I pray to God always to have mercy on my father (I do not pray to my father).

Gen 5:24 He enjoyed a close relationship with God throughout his life. Then suddenly, he disappeared because God took him.

Now to answer your question,Enoch was a man that loved God,walking with God means to do his will, walk in his ways, live according to his precepts not a physical walk like lovers as you put it.

Why God chose him as one who would not see death,I do not know.

Elijah,a prophet of God also was taken up by chariots into heaven,he never saw death either.

2Ki 2:1   When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.

2Ki 2:3   The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”

“2Ki 2:4   Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, Elisha; the Lord has sent me to Jericho.”

2Ki 2:7   Fifty men of the company of the prophets went and stood at a distance, facing the place where Elijah and Elisha had stopped at the Jordan.

2Ki 2:8   Elijah took his cloak, rolled it up and struck the water with it. The water divided to the right and to the left, and the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

2Ki 2:9   When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”

“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.

2Ki 2:10   “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise not.”

2Ki 2:11   As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

2Ki 2:12   Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.

I believe that God may have have used these to prove to us that rapture is possible,he had taken up people against gravity before and there is nothing impossible with him.

Were these 2  equal or mightier than Christ, absolutely not!!!.

They were mere prophets, they cannot save or redeem.

They were born of men by the seed of men and therefore were not qualified to redeem man.

Christ was born by the power of the holy spirit by a virgin that knew no man,no other person ever before or after him has ever been conceived that way.

That was a sign,as predicted by prophets of old.

It was clearly predicted hundreds of years before the birth of Christ that the saviour would be born and would die to redeem man so he had to die that the scripture might be fulfilled and that the purpose of his ministry be accomplished.

I hope I answered you.

For example, what's the likelihood of a person predicting today the exact city in which the birth of a future leader would take place, well into the 21st century? This is indeed what the prophet Micah did 700 years before the Messiah. Further, what is the likelihood of predicting the precise manner of death that a new, unknown religious leader would experience, a thousand years from now - a manner of death presently unknown, and to remain unknown for hundreds of years? (Crucifixion was invented by the Romans about 200 B.C.).Yet, this is what David did in 1000 B.C.

Again, what is the likelihood of predicting the specific date of the appearance of some great future leader, hundreds of years in advance? This is what Daniel did, 530 years before Christ. If one were to conceive 50 specific prophecies about a person in the future, whom one would never meet, just what's the likelihood that this person will fulfill all 50 of the predictions? How much less would this likelihood be if 25 of these predictions were about what other people would do to him, and were completely beyond his control?

For example, how does someone "arrange" to be born in a specific family?

How does one "arrange" to be born in a specified city, in which their parents don't actually live? How does one "arrange" their own death - and specifically by crucifixion, with two others, and then "arrange" to have their executioners gamble for His clothing (John 16:19; Psalms 22:18)?

How does one "arrange" to be betrayed in advance? How does one "arrange" to have the executioners carry out the regular practice of breaking the legs of the two victims on either side, but not their own? Finally, how does one "arrange" to be God? How does one escape from a grave and appear to people after having been killed?

Indeed, it may be possible for someone to fake one or two of the Messianic prophecies, but it would be impossible for any one person to arrange and fulfill all of these prophecies. Note: This material extracted from web site, unknown author.

This study highlights the Messianic prophecies. One should know, however, that much of the Old Testament, (estinated around 50%) is prophecy. Much of it was prophesied in the earler writings and later writings then recorded the various fulfillments. And of course much of these are yet to be fulfilled in the future.

There are many prophecies recorded in the New Testament. Some are fulfilled, i.e. Jesus told the disciples that the temple would be completely destroyed in Matthew 24:1-2. This was literally fulfilled in 70 A.D. when the Roman General, Titus crushed the Jewish rebellion. Dozens of NT prophecies are yet to be fulfilled during and after the return of Christ.

@Babyosisi: It Enoch never died, then he has one over Jesus who at least by your statement of belief had died/tasted death! So why is Enoch not cnsidered Son of God, at least in the same way as Jesus, if not higher grade? When you say he walked with God, what is that, exactly? Is it like a physical walk, like two lovers holding hands, strolling down the street or in the park, etc? What is it that you mean by this in the physical or spiritual relationship and physical description, in refernce to God? How tall is Enoch in relationship to God? This stroll was on this earth or where? Was God then under His heaven, under the highest cloud or atmopheric condensation, yet walking on top of the earth? Babyosisi, I need a though answer. God is greater than what they associate with Him. God is more superior than any kind of physcical confinement they can put Him. I remember my high school BK teacher telluing us that when Jacob wrestled in the old testament, finally showed his neck to him or was it Moses that did that. I asked myself then, even though I I was a little boy, how big was the neck? I always knew that this description by the teacher was a fantastic falacy that will be unacceptable to any true believer of God.

He even said Israel as another name for Jacob (AS), means the one who fought with God. But in Islam, Israel as a name of Jacob (AS) means soldier of God. You see the difference here? Yet no eye has ever seen God. Instead of the wrestling between Jacob and an angel, knowing fully well that angels do appear to prophets!

@gbade.x: You are calling me playa? Don't be naive. If i want Babyosisi, assuming that her writing tell me anything about her, in this case so far, not, then I will go to the Igbo elders, including Chief Ojukwu. I will lobby that they extracate her from America and bring her to my doorstep, in Nigeria. If this is impossible, then when she arrive on vacation to Nigeria, the whole of Nigeria, will gather to shoplift her to me! See, gbade.x, this is impossible. She is engaged and it is in the human nature to be married and propagate the continuation of mankind in the earth. I like her as a sister in humankind, that's about it.

Whatever I want, I will like to see before I make up my mind. If I am interested in her, for real you and everyone will undoubtedly know it. I am a muslim and I will be very forward about it. Unlike the others, who will hide their true intension about love and relationship. I do not fornicate or involve in adultery! This is Islam. It is different from Arab or Yoruba culture or any other cultures.

Even though my first choice in women are Nigerians, but i am not interested in typical ethnic look. I love exotic look and I can not see it just from Babyosisi's writings. I want her to suceed in marriage and I believe she already found her match, her soul mate. I only hope for her and him all that is good. That's my story and i am sticking to it. The last sentence is a joke.

Yes,there is an example of a man who never tasted death in the BIble,Torah to be precise.

Gen 5:24   Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

and Olabowole,if I sounded too harsh or insulted you in anyway,I sincerely apologise.

and these would show you God already knew there'll be doubting thomases like you .

Olabowole,God is not a man.

2Pe 3:3   First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

2Pe 3:4   They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

2Pe 3:5   But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

2Pe 3:6   By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

2Pe 3:7   By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

2Pe 3:8   But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

2Pe 3:9   The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

2Pe 3:10   But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.*

2Pe 3:11   Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives

2Pe 3:12   as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.*That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

2Pe 3:13   But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

2Pe 3:14   So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him

Olabowole read these scriptures and see the hope that we speak of,it may not be in my time, but it will surely happen.

1Th 4:13 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.

1Th 4:14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

1Th 4:15 According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

1Th 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

1Th 4:18 Therefore encourage each other with these words.

@Babyosisi: Yes. That's my final answer. Allah says in the Qur'an; Every soul shall taste death. Have you seen anyone who has never died? Even you claim that the Bible Jesus died. Even as you claim,it is for a short period of time. Bad calculation, from Friday almost sundown to Sunday immediately after sunrise is not three days! I am also Semitic. So are the Igbos. So are all the decendants of Ibrahiim (AS).

So when I say I want to tell you a story, your choral response is to be ;Tell me story o. Thank God, in my youth I experienced life. I was not a saint, but did not go over board. Babyosisi, you should think about this alternative scenario. You can love Jesus, if at all your love is true, as much as Peter, mark, and many of his core companions. Was anyone of them carried away in rapture? The answer is no. They died and beried. End of story.

Fela in his days, when performing, especially in Europe, some may shout that he was the best Musician that they ever saw. He would respond; That's what you said. Really, Fela was telling them that this statement was just from their own mouth. he can 'ttell the sincerity of it all. You see, fact that you say that you love Jesus is true in your heart. But do you love Jesus with the understanding of his true nature. This is why, we in Islam, are very clear about our love for all the prophets, (AS), Jesus included. In Qur'an, Allah says do not differentiate between the Prophets.

Babyosisi, do not abuse me by getting very harsh in your writing. This is my disclaimer to you. Leave the abuse to your male associates. They have no shame and lack cultural and moral respect to their elders.

So olabowole, since the rapture has not taken place yet ,it's not gonna happen?

Is that your most intelligent argument?

Come again!!

@Babyosisi: The rapture concept, if it is true will make those who will be in it be one up on Jesus of the Bible! Wouldn't this be so? But if this concept is just a terrible falacy, then the great expection, the big bang effect will be a very cruel joke ending up whimppily. If any group from among the christians were to be given the special previlege of not tasting death, i will believe that it would have been the companions of Jesus! You and me will agree that their faith and belief in the ministry of jesus will be stronger than any later generations. If this rapture has not happened then, it may be that it will never happen.

Unfortunately, since the concept was developed, there must have been countless people who had hoped that it will happen in their time, but instead experience the unavoidable event which is death! My sister, do not get caught up in this more than you have already. This is a wake up call to you. You are a smart woman, i hope you will not be shocked when reality sets in. At the point of death it will be too late for repentance.
