Pastor Kumuyi does preach a lot about holy way of life. That falls in life with the Biblical teaching on Christian life. He was born back in 1941. During the years of his ministry the pastor was named among the 500 most influential people of our planet. Plus, he is the founder of one of the largest churches in the world.

why are you all disputing what you ought to be proud of.

you have all these great men of God (Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor Adeboye etc) here in Nigeria and you are not thankful to God, you are disputing on Holiness and the best preacher.

For your information without 'HOLINESS NO MAN SHALL SEE GOD' that's the Bible

;DWait a minute The good news now is that Pastor W.F kumuyi of Deeper life Bible Church has organized a program for the youth of this generation,  YOUTH SUCCESS CAMP 2007

It will be coming up on the 21st to 25th of Aug 2007 at all Deeper Life Bible Churches African wide and beyond

Be a participant.

Veracious, I'm not a zombie but you are. I'll also classify you as a puppet and kumuyi and the rest of the "men of god" are your puppet masters. Your world as been shrunk to the size of a barbie doll house full of spritual crap called christianity. They say ignorance is bliss, well the bliss holy people claim to feel when they are not battling imaginary demons is the culmination of the perpetual brainwashing they are subjected too. The world and the universe are to complex for one religion to claim to know the unequivocal truth.

What I have observed in my 24 years is that religion and poverty are not things that should be combined, in Islam these two are the cause of all these suicide bombers whose plight in life has caused them to hang on to every word of these clerics making them delusional enough to think they have 72 virgins in "paradise", lack of personal freedom to pursue ones interests because they are frowned on by some silly book called a quran is enough to drive them to suicidal rage.

But in my beautiful country called nigeria, people are so superstitious they think falling down, and I mean literally tripping and falling on your Bottom is the work of some principalities and powers. DAMN NIGGA YOU FELL BECAUSE YOUR CHILD LEFT A TOY LAYING ON THE FLOOR, THE DEVIL AIN'T TRYING TO BREAK YOUR NECK, NEXT TIME CLEAN UP YOUR HOUSE but i digress, your pastors milk you of your money and productive time by asking for tithes( nigga i ain't giving nobody 10% of my income if it aint my mama or some family member i wanna help), night vigils and all sorts of revivals and deliverance service(the only thing you need deliverance from is your pastor). Try saving up that 10% you give kumuyi and chris or their churches and invest it in something no matter how little and then see if you don't see the fruits of your labour.

i just looked up that "PRINCIPALITY" word and it says A principality (or princedom) is a monarchical feudatory or sovereign state, ruled or reigned over by a monarch with the title of prince or princess, or (in the widest sense) a monarch with another title within the generic use of the term prince. i bet all you born agains spewing that ish didn't know that.

You have been swallowing the ish being fed to you because of the misery around you, its time to stand up for yourselves and take the country back from all these holier than thou thieves both in government and religion. Even Alamiesigha(spelling) came back from England disguised as a female and went straight to church to proclaim "god helped me escape" and some of y'all were lauding him, sh#t the nigga was stacking the welfare of a whole state in some bank in london but some people are so blinded by religion they actually supported him.Cmon people

Dios,

Just like Enitan said. You really ve a problem. Your case might be difficult to be solved in mere mortal's or hand-built Psychiatric home. You'll only need a serious deliverance for referring to Holy People the way you did. I'll suggest mountain of Fire, where your perverted soul can be regenerated.

Veracious, where do u worship at? I don't believe one has to lead an austere lifestyle to be considered holy by God and men. Are u guys telling me that the likes of Hagin, Dollar, Copeland, etc. don't preach holiness or that they are not holy themselves? Let u guys stop deceiving urselves and worship God in spirit and truth and not by austerity.

Dios and Enitan, forget Veracious and her holier-than-thou attitude.

no human can decide who is a man of God, but only the laws of the most high can do that.

many think coronation into clergy automatically makes one a man of God,no thats a big lie, just only obedience to the laws of the creator makes one to belong to that group.

@daprince and Dios

i can see you two are one of a kind.

really i have no comments for you two because i can see you don't have respect for annointed men of God and even God himself ,then you are not worth talking with.and you better pray of not going to hell.

U are freaking funny dawg. I ain't got no qualms with living holy (in fact, I would love to lead a holy lifestyle), but the way some of these people take is just plain ridiculous. God ain't got no problem with us looking nice and making Him proud (I believe looking good is part of making God proud). Why would God give us the brain to create toys that we wouldn't enjoy? But in all honesty though, I think Veracious and her likes need a total make-over; perhaps if she got the privilege of watching Oprah (oooppppppsssssss, it's a sin to watch TV, my bad) she might get that make-over she deserves.

Just a piece of my mind Lady V., sorry if I kinda sounded rude or unholy

Dios, what gave u the impression that Veracious is a deeperlifer? U are funny dawg! I don't think deeperlifers are allowed to go without a head gear or put on the kind of shirt she's got on on her profile. BTW Veracious, do u too go without watching TV? If u do, what are u doing on the internet? The internet too got lots of Indecency, u might wanna take a peek.

You watch your tongue boy.I'll check out ingersoll or whatever too.

Veracious i don't need help from a brainwashed deeper life member.

Actually i do believe in hell, cuz i'm in hell right now,its so f#cking HOT too.

@Veracious

Get in trouble? What kind of trouble? Y'all "holy" people spend your time chastising "sinners" and blabbing on and on about  heaven and hell and whatnot. Well I don't believe in that crap, so if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Warn me? You self righteous clown, why are you so sure that buddhism or traditional african religion are not the true path to god, you so sure of your kike.

I call this bullshit! Most of u are glorifying the shadow rather than seeking the substance. It isn't the amount of preaching or teaching that ur pastors do that count, but the lives led by u all. Some people here are just so passionate about fellow men, giving me crap that Kumuyi, Adeboye, etc. are the best preachers, on what did most of u base ur categorization?

I got some questions for u claiming Kumuyi is the best, what's gonna happen to ladies who wear pants, make-up, jewelries, etc and yet still worship God fervently? And also, what happens to those of us who watch TV and yet LOVE the Lord?

I believe in the Holy Spirit and the oneness of God, most of these pastors that most of u consider the best in the biz teach austerity, not necessarily meekness. That Christ wore sandals doesn't mean I too should go about wearing sandals, just an analogy here plz. Let us lead our lives, enjoying the good things that God's brain enabled science to create and not try to make those who know how to enjoy and tap into God's brain feel guilty.

to my opinion, Pastor (Dr.) Kumuyi is the best Holiness preacher we can see in the world today.

he knows the Bible inside out by the grace of God and applies Bible principles in all his doings.

why not listen to him for once.

he is a holiness preacher, not a motivational speaker.

i hope u will take him serious.

Stay Blessed

I just wish Doyin13 is reading these. i can't imagin people thinking that when you live a humble life, that means you are poor.

@ Dios

well for me am not dedicated to my pastor but to God Almighty.and be informed also that am not in the category of those who live suffering and smilling.

0

Why are y'all so dedicated to your pastors, them dudes put their pants on one leg at a time too. Y'all make kumuyi, adeboye, oyakiblabla all high and mighty, no wonder they live good and y'all still suffering and smiling. Like Fela said, suffer suffer for world, enjoy for heaven, juba pope,juba imam etc.

I want my treasures right here on earth and I'll cop more in the afterlife.

@doyin13

I grew up in a deeperlife family and we are far from poor. You will be surprised at the number of very successful businnessmen and leaders in the corporate world who are depperlifers. What I understand from the years I spent there is that anything that would remotely be misconstrued by people as being unholy and could tarnish your "testimony"should be avoided. This is his belief and that of his church members and i think it should be respected as extreme as it might seem. Remember, there are also churches that people consider to be extreme in their expression of freedon and prosperity.

Men and women of God who have been called to be teachers of the word are all gifted by the same God.  While everyone is gifted, it is a different case as to whether this gift has been annointed of the Lord to do what each person does. Having said that, I dare not compare them amongst themselves, neither will I criticize them, lest I myself face God's judgement. I cannot judge their abilities to do what God has called them to do. It is written that teachers of the Word will face a harsher judgement and will answer to what they teach to God's people. Therefore, I will not be concerned with them leading me astray. They too will face God one day. I have the Holy Spirit within me to help me discern what needs to be discerned when I learn from various teachers and preachers.

Agape!

I am not surpriced reading all these comments.because we are actually in the last days.

let me start by asking,IS IT WRONG IF PEOPLE TALK ABOUT YOU BEING HOLY? actually that should have been the thought going through your minds not talking about who is more holier than who, who preaches the word most etc? infact we all are expected to be holy in the sight of God because the bible says without holiness no man shall see the lord.it did not say you have to be a pastor.

your mentors (pastors) are holy, yes, but are you? these should be your concern because i know none of u would want to be rejected on that day simply because you are not holy.

besides most of this pastors we see today as being very hot or firebranded, on that day would not breath in the air of heaven let alone seeing it with their eyes;but today most of us look up to them for examples instead of us emulating Christ Jesus whom the bible says we should follow his steps closely!

@post

for me anytime anyday i respect Pastor W.F Kumuyi. it takes an extra aboundant Grace of God to live the kind of life that man lives.

@doyin13

i totally disagree with you on your statment of his members(deeperlifers) being poor because of the way they dress or look.

@Seun, thanks for mentioning Gbile Akanni - he's one of my fav teachers of the Word anyday.

@Aicue,

Holiness is both a gift and a responsibility. No man in himself defines holiness; but God alone is holy --

Psa. 22:3 -- "But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel."

Rev. 15:4  --  "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest."

The Holy God makes those who draw near to Him by faith to become holy:

Lev. 20:8  --  "And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you."

1 Thes. 5:23 -- "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Having been made holy, we are expected to walk in holiness all our days: which means He expects to see our ACTS both producing and displaying holiness:

Luke 1:74 & 75 -- "That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life."

1 Pet. 1:14-16 -- "As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."

Cheers.

Holiness is not attainable. It is who you are. Only those who know not themselves try to become who already they are. Does a virgin become unholy after she gets married and has sex, I mean marital sex. Of course no! She.s no holier than a young innocent girl who was attacked  and forcefully Molested outside her will. Holiness is  and cannot be or was it. It is now. Not gotten by acts or facts.

Being a pastor doesn't mean you are holy, only God knows who is really holy.

Am just a non-denominational Christian, most denominations are disgusting - especially those who claim that they hold the key to God's kingdom (those who have lived before them and those who didn't join them, are they going to hell?)

God bless us all.

I think 'Brother' Gbile Akanni is more convincing. He has no title and owns no denomination.

Why are you people making such comments about an exceptional man of God.

He is the same Pastor we know for years.

Take it or leave it, he is Nigeria's best.

He may not be flashy like other Pastors, he may be strict with his doctine but he is what we know him to be.

0

I guess he simply has a different marketing strategy to other pastors.

His style is more to peddle austerity. The religion of SAP.
