Very interesting article about the history and religion. Since I am fond of history for a long time in history it was very interesting to read about such as the Pentecost holiday. Although I always knew that Easter is very big holiday, but did not know what Pentecost is also a feast of large, and you need to approach it as a great spirituality. With this article, I learned a lot about this holiday, about how it is celebrated, and in general as it is properly called. I enjoyed also the story of his ascent.

The feast of Pentecost is one of the most important in Orthodoxy. Its significance is close to such a festive day like Easter and Christmas. This is not surprising, as the concept of the Holy Trinity is Central to Christian faith. In the year 381 Church Council held in Constantinople, adopted the dogma of three Divine persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. With these days and selected the holiday that we now call the Trinity – Pentecost. What it is, was clearly formulated in the documents of the Council, and by them we are guided up to the present time.
