what is the difference btw a sin and a weakness?.

How to know when you sin or when you are just weak?

the bible said,he that knows what is right and do not do it,it is recorded as a sin.on the other hand weakness is more or less like a younger sister to sin.

This is a good question. In the Greek the word sin means "missing the mark". It is like when you shoot from a bow or a gun and you miss it. Instead of hitting the mark, you just blow it. So, if you think of that most of the weakness can be named "sin". And there are no big sins and small sins. Sin is sin. It does not really matter how much you missed. The fact is - YOU MISSED. That is why Jesus Christ came to die for our sins as God says: without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. He did not miss, He paid for all of our sins and weaknesses. And now we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. When we are weak, He is strong!
