when last did u pray seriously and why?
A dear friend gave me a gold-plated souvenir which now sits on my office desk with the following encouraging words on prayer. They were arranged in the acronym of PURPLE:
- with Understanding. .
- with Repentance . .
- with Purpose. .
- with Love. .
- with Endurance. .
- Gal. 6:9 'And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.'
every time I need help, advice, a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to, to ask for healing for myself/friends/family. It's not something I do on a "need to need" basis. I "pray" not always just to ask for a favor/blessings. I pray because God is a friend all ways there for us in times of happiness, distress, joyfulness. He is always there so I talk to him whenever I feel like talking.
