What are two things that pastors can`t do with politicians during elections

- A Church or Pastor can`t give money to any candidate. Nevertheless, it does not mean that pastors can`t give their money to political candidates as citizens of the USA or donate to any politician company as their choice. If they have a desire, they may even be Campaign Chair for any candidate as they desire. Still, they can`t donate Church funds officially to any candidate. If they try to use any resources.
- Churches can`t endorse one candidate over another. Nevertheless, it does not mean that pastors as individuals can’t endorse one candidate over another. What pastors can do during elections?
Pastors are capable of doing a lot of things during the election campaign. As individuals, they can enjoy the same rights and freedoms as their fellow citizens. On the other hand, they should understand their responsibilities as leader of organizations and churches. Any person who addresses attempts to silence a pastor can have problems with a law as it`s a clear violation of freedom of speech for today. If physical violence was used for silencing a pastor, then it can be distinguished as a criminal act.
Pastors have every right to express their opinions. There is no democratic country in the world which forbid pastors to use their freedom of speech and violate their rights officially. In the whole history of humanity, churches were a perfect place to discuss anything and everything. According to history books, in many places of the world governmental and religion concepts have never been mutually exclusive concepts. They rather prefer to use mutual coexistence. Many leaders of the countries saw religion as the path to their political realm.
It should be mentioned that politics were not barred from churches. In some countries of the world, they can even express the desires of their religion. Churches can take sides of any political spectrum o the country. It should be mention that power and religion have been coexisted one with another for many years today. It also means that people who had a desire to obtain political power used their religion and religion supporters to find the top of the political career. Churches provided support to their political candidates all over the history. They can perfectly understand how valuable their support to politicians.
Pastors can provide education about politics
Pastors can provide political education to people and endorse their desires in political elections. They should equip their saints with knowledge of politics and now what is right and what is wrong for their personal issues. It`s a duty of every citizen and person in the country to take an active political position about the destiny of the country. No matter for the religion, it`s needed to educate citizens about what choice should be made for them. Of course, it also is saved the right of free speech and the idea of the religion if it`s necessary.
Pastors are fully protected when it comes to matters of education. The churches can`t take part in political processes strictly, but they can educate their people about the matters of politics. They should also provide some knowledge about how important politics can be for the country and people itself. They might provide fliers of any candidate they want. They can also explain their vision for the future with every candidate. Nevertheless, they can`t endorse their followers to choose one candidate over other. It might be a problem for them as it also provides information that they have some pressure on the freedom of speech.
Pastors can invite political candidates to speak in their churches
